Adelaide Caravan Park reviews
58 Stayed in a beautiful newly renovated villa.
Found the customer service to be fantastic.
Would definitely stay here again.
Spiders on the ceiling of toilet block.
Fence falling over cliff side using wood pallets and star pickets to hold it up. Caravans are packed in like a can of sardines. No room to have a annex out. Can't fit your car onto the site and need to park it out on the street. $52 a night for a powered site at least they can make the fences safe.
What a hidden gem. Only a couple of km to the CBD. A short walk to the zoo and botanical gardens. This park is surrounded by stunning heritage homes. A really great coffee shop called Fix a short stroll away. The powered caravan site we had was small for our 20'6 fit but totally worth it for the amazing location. Only downside was we couldn't get signal on our satellite dish as we were under tress and one day the 2 clothes lines were full. Could probably do with another clothesline. Showers and toilets & laundry were all clean. I didn't use the camp kitchen or pool. We loved this location and it was a LOT cheaper than a powered site at the Adelaide Showgrounds. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
Very small caravan sites but clean amenities and close to city, park and the best coffee shop FIX!
A lovely place to stay near the city. Dinner and many attractions were only a 20min walk away.
Management tried to make us pay full price for accommodation we had to cancel due to going to a funeral. We cancelled 6 days prior, as soon as we knew we couldn't make it. No compassion, money hungry A holes!
We booked our spot pretty spontaneous and got a special price for 4 nights. Lucky us that we read about the offer before on the webside: When we wanted to book the spot at the office the gentleman wanted to charge the full price.
Unfortunately the campground is really bad for tents if you want to use your pegs.
You are very close to your neighbours but also close to the CBD (walking distance).
We enjoyed using the camp kitchen, showers and WiFi.
There is also a big laundry.
Was forced to cancel my two night stay with my family due to a funeral. With five days notice they refuse to refund my money and expected me to pay the full amount. The lady on the phone was very rude and hung up on me! This is the worst service I've ever received from a holiday park in my life!
Extremely rude male manager never felt welcome, noticed the government bailed them out during covid with $$$ but they turned down a family for a extra night so obviously they don’t need the money
This park is smaller than most I have stayed in. The power sites very compact and hard to manoeuvre into and no real place to park your vehicle. But it is quite clean and beautiful ️. Right next to a park and walk trails along the Torrens river makes it a great spot. The little cabins look great and would be worth checking out if you wanted to be near the city and some main attraction.
As with a large number of the reviews below - we too experienced rude staff. Common theme it seems!
Arriving after a long, hot, tiring 9 hour drive and just wanting to go to bed - the unpleasant male on reception (park manager?) assumed we would be loud and make noise, rudely telling us we’d have to be quiet. Despite the fact it was still early, and there were people walking around and children playing all over the park - and we were in bed long before everyone else.
$70ish dollars to sleep in a roof top tent (taking up zero space - and luckily, because the sites are packed in like sardines). Better/friendlier service and a more pleasant stay could likely be found elsewhere at a lesser cost.
It wasn’t the worst but definitely not the best. When we arrived the staff were rude and claimed we had payments pending when we had already payed all payments due in advance. Sites are incredibly small and they are very stingy with where cars are parked. But with limited space there is not much room for anything. Powered sites only offer one PowerPoint and one tap. Limited parking and tiny spots made a very cramped stay with our neighbours pretty much being ontop of us. Although, the amenities were nice including shower, kitchen and laundry. We would definitely prefer to stay some where else if we come here again as it is not suitable for caravans or camper trailers!
Clean cabin rooms with well equipped kitchenettes. However wished the placement of the plug points were slightly better.
Location was awesome. Was greeted rudely upon arriving. Outside of that the facilities were good for a a cabin. Great location amongst the hustle and bustle.
We camped in a tent next to a fence that dropped down to the river Torrens. Unfortunately there were lots of rats coming up to us while eating dinner in the evening. However it was in a great location near the city and dog friendly which was a plus!
Helpful staff, good amenities. Very central to Adelaide cbd.
Cabin was clean, comfortable and best of all dog friendly.
We did our research and booked according to the website map for a standard cabin and was put in a value cabin for our stay. We booked and paid for 5 people but they do not make the top bunk beds so we had to make it ourselves. The Wi-Fi was slow and not unlimited. I was disappointed with my stay and I would have given 2 stars but the cabin was clean so I'm being generous.
A beautiful cabin! Was a great size for our family and location was good just keep in mind to have a car it's not as close as it looks on the maps for walking
The manager is rude abrupt and exceptionally unhelpful, he seems to be under the impression that if you don’t want your credit card details online it’s somehow a red flag
We really liked how close it was to the city, yet was still quite quiet at night. Lovely little caravan park.
