A wonderful stay which was had everything you want with some incredibly special touches to make the stay even more lovely. Melissa was outstanding in her communication and gave great recommendations for eating out - an excellent host. A very nice place to escape and just be in the moment and relax.

Melissa contributes a wonderful B&B to this stunning region. Her place is clean, breakfast provisions are ample and the details were the cherry on top (including a cheeseboard, sweets and pre-made fireplace). Her husband runs a bike hire which is extremely convenient for a great trip to Clare Valley for 2. I will definitely be recommending this place to my friends and family.

This is the perfect place to unwind. The attention to detail was great. Very high standard. Even fresh flowers and chocolates. Just sit on the patio listening to the birds. Beautiful walks and cycle tracks on the doorstep.

Our stay at Adagio in Auburn was exceptional!
From the pretty, spotless facilities to the myriad added extras such as the beautiful fresh flowers, the generous breakfast and fruit/cheese platters, the bottle of wine and tasty slices left for us to enjoy, Melissa has truly gone above and beyond in creating a relaxing and cosy space for her guests.
We loved sitting out on the comfy patio listening to the birds and watching gentle rain fall on the lovely garden and beyond.
The cottage is a destination in itself and we couldn't have wished for a better couple of days away from the world in order to celebrate our 45th wedding anniversary.
Thank you Melissa, we will definitely return!

A real gem, in a great little town. Very comfortable and beautifully decorated inside, in a lovely garden setting. Highly recommended.

What a beautiful place! Thankyou Melissa for the most relaxing weekend we have had in years. It was fantastic to sit by the fireplace with a glass or two and a cheese platter (all supplied) and just relax.

The bed was huge and so comfortable. Location is great, just a short walk to cafes, eateries and the pub. Bicycle hire is just across the road, as is the Riesling Trail. Our bikes were actually delivered to us at Adagio. Great service!

Everything about this place is fantastic. Communication from the owner was brilliant, informative and responsive. The whole property was clean to the point of being spotless. The bed was more comfortable than my own and the provided breakfast was amazing. If you're in the area stay here.

This was our second visit, it’s a home away from home.
Quiet, serene, comfortable. The cheese platters and breakfast platters are very generous.
Sitting outside with a glass of Clare wine is heaven.
Walking distance from restaurants.
Thank you Melissa

Lovely weekend getaway that was close to the Main Street but quiet and restful. The cottage has been nicely restored and well set up. Breakfast provisions were fantastic and local. Wineries and the Riesling bike trail close by

I don't even know where to start with this review because it has literally been the best little break from all the madness we've ever had and I'm so grateful we got to come and stay here. The owner made us feel so welcome, months before we even got there and definitely when we did get there. She is absolutely lovely and so easy to get along with. The place itself is exactly like the photos and straight away felt like a home away from home. The platters and breakfast had the perfect amount of food on them and the fire is awesome! Heats up the cottage well. The bed. OMG the bed. I miss it already. It's so cozy and the electric blanket is awesome at warming up the sheets quickly. I will definitely be coming back and I think if you're looking for a place to stay around cafes, restaurants and wineries close by. This spot is perfect for you!

Thanks Mel for creating such an amazing place! Xx

I highly recommend Adagio in Auburn, a quaint cottage nestled among the fig trees. Quiet, peaceful, tasteful and attention to detail. Melissa provided breakfast provisions using local produce which catered to our specific tastes. We will definitely book again.
