Aberfoyle Park Medical Centre reviews
16My wife and I registered with Aberfoyle Park Medical Centre at the beginning of January. We have found the staff to be very helpful and have been made to feel very welcome. Thank you
I've never had an issue here. The receptionists are nice and the doctors are very good.
Dr Andrew is awesome, extremely thorough.
Girls are always friendly and helpful.
Nurse lady is awesome as well and very knowledgeable.
I appreciated the friendly staff and also Dr Siobhan Harnett with her thorough explanation of my conditions.
Friendly staff at the counter & on the phone. Dr Andrew Boyd is knowledgeable, thorough & proactive.
It's sad terry rose leaving the practice over 30years been my GP the receptionist Fiona is so lovely and helpful
The doctors here are extremely knowledgeable and compassionate. Good old fashioned GP service couldn't ask for better.
Great doctors surgery, all the doctors and nurses have been wonderful, there is rarely any wait time for your appt and the reception ladies have always been very helpful and understanding towards me. The only downer is they have been hard to get into to be seen lately.
Receptionist laughed at me when I inquired about booking in to see a specific doctor who had moved from up North.
I advised the receptionist that I knew they weren't potentially taking on new clients but I thought I would ask anyway, all I got was "Yes, we aren't taking on new clients" *pause* then laughter occurred afterwards (and then told me where he would be at the end of the month). I may not have reacted in a manner I should have afterwards but I did not appreciate the laughter (and no explanation of why) when all I was asking was to see a specific doctor.
The polite thing to say would have been "oh, I do apologise, but we are not taking on any new clients at this stage due to. "
However, what puzzles me, is that there is a new doctor that works for your clinic; does he not magically have any clients that may not want to follow him?
Rude behaviour from receptionist. We rang to get assistance on behalf of an older family member and were treated with rude & appallingly bad behaviour by the receptionist. The Medical Centre should look at the number of bad reviews below based on poor receptionist behaviour, then do something about it before they loose even more patients.
My missus just got back from the doctors. Extremely rude receptionist and the doctor was poor.no bedside manner and no help. She was actually upset how she was treated. No chance we will ever go back. Avoid!
Receptionist (not sure which) was rude, lovely doctors. However, patients do not deserve the unnecessary hostility.
It's a GP surgery. Any of GP's I have been to have been very good attentive and helpful. Most of the front desk staff have been too.
If you're looking for good female doctors, this is the place! They make me feel super comfortable to talk about anything. Very trustworthy and helpful!
So upset with this place. I’m a local living only 1km away from this practice. Im suffering from a psychological injury due to a very stressful job and have recently had a workcover claim approved due to the nature of my injury. I booked an appointment a week ago to see a Dr at this practice and today received a call the day before advising that they were cancelling my appointment due to being on WC. When I asked why this was as I had advised and answered several in depth questions regarding the fact it was WC and the nature of my injury when I made the appointment. I was told that the other receptionist had made a mistake and they were unwilling to see me on WC. I then asked why had I answered all the questions in the original call when making the appointment? I was then told a different story that the Dr had since made the call. There was no kindness or compassion from the receptionist (Jan) at all who was very rude and unapologetic. I’m literally in tears and so disappointed that they have wasted my time and now a week later, I’m back needing to find someone to see. We’re told to be brave and seek help when dealing with mental health issues and to be treated like this feels so awful. R U OK? No I’m not. This has just made it worse.
