Abbots & Kinney reviews
31 Ultra hot coffee and quick service.
Great pastries and a range of snacks to enjoy with your coffee. Was too excited to have mine I forgot the important photos.
Pastries were a tad disappointing as was expecting a crispy freshly baked texture but more so a chewy texture. Bought at 10.30am. $17 for 2 pastries…. Almond custard & chocolate almond raspberry.
Their pastries are amazing, really good and chai was good to love how they have art on the takeaway cups.
Very good coffee.
The croissants are sometimes delicious and sometimes very dry and tasteless.
After reading all great reviews, I went there and I bought a croissant and pain au chocolat. They are more like brioche, not flaky at all, did not taste butter like in France.
They were expensive. My friends and I won’t go back.
Nice small cafe down at Pirie St. The addition of Skala pastries give it an added appeal. The guys the run the shop are champs. Visit them early if you want pastries to go with your coffee.
The croissant I bought from foodland four days ago was way better and a lot fresher. Love the fact they gave me steak knife to help me cut the croissant, still, it wasnt sharp enough to cut through the pastry!
One of the best coffee and pastry spots in the city. Friendly staff, great coffee and to die for pastries.
Great coffee, excellent staff. The ham and cheese croissant had pickles and maybe mustard and was without a doubt the best croissant I’ve ever had. The chocolate croissant had cinnamon on top and elevated it to second, after the hand a cheese croissant! Great decor
Dex and team are by far the finest coffee in the city! Always good vibes, really delicious snacks and pastries and above all the guys are just absolute legends! Amazing!
Great coffee, amazing baked treats and super friendly staff. Must visit if you are in the CBD or Croyden.
The line of people at the door show itself popularity. I had a cruffin which was sensational. I have a video that shows the place on youtube
Visited for the first time, and I'll be back. Thank you for an outstanding morning snack and coffee.
So overated. I guess it is because Adelaide lacks competition in hospitality. This kind of place wouldn't survive a year in Cali or any European capital with those prices. Croissants are overbaked and feel dry, bread is ok but inconsistent. Pastries are "meh" at best, the custard taste processed and yeah for the price and reputation you could expect some quality but nope. I give 2 stars and not 1 because the staff was nice. The rest is just disappointing.
There is no better feeling than finding a new favourite coffee shop that serves up consistently amazing coffee along with great food. If you don't stop and try Abbots and Kinney you will never know just how good they are, it really is one of the best!
Named after the Abbot and Kinney neighborhood in Venice California. This place imbibes the cool beachy SoCal life with better coffee and pastries than it's namesake.
Clean place, friendly staff and good quality food. Slightly pricey but if you can afford it, you wont regret it.
Delicious sandwiches, recommend the pulled pork and the panko chicken, also recommend getting a side serve of roast vegetables. Really good coffee too, and friendly service. Nice setting. Ticks all the boxes.
Pastries good and excellent coffee. However service can be arrogant and unapproachable at times. Still highly recommend.
