If you like to be ignored and be served average food this is just for you. But a lot Pirie is like that anyway

Delicious seafood pizzas, healthy servings of wedges too. If the dreamy, pizza smell wafting down the street doesn't draw you in, the awesome arcade machines and cool, friendly staff will!
Authentic pizza taste, you can tell it's made locally and doesn't have a generic "pizza" taste like Dominos. Worth the extra couple minutes wait time!

Food is always very well cooked and presented, staff are well mannerd and polite delivery are always prompt

We ordered for the first time tonight. Very impressed, phone service lovely, delivery guy friendly and polite. We had the Whyalla special and couldn’t have been more impressed.

Greatest pizza in the world. I lived in Pirie when this place opened in the early 70s. Fell in love with pizza then and maintain that their pizza with the lot is still hands down the best pizza anywhere.

Yum yum yum. The pizza was absolute delish! Went here first night of our holiday and the pizza here is better than most you would get in Adelaide, for less. Service was friendly and the vibe was quirky and retro with old pinball machines and floorboards. Anytime you are in the Pirie vicinity, this place is worth a stop in

First time trying A1, eventually tonight was the night. The food is amazing, can taste the flavours and see the toppings on the pizza AND not greasy at all.

Busy (good sign) tasty friendly the pork ribs although tasty really need more sauce in the serving twice now not enough sauce, potato bake while mostly yummy can have far too much oil floating through out the serving in two different purchases I experienced otherwise nice, have yet to taste their pizzas so stay tuned. # # 18 th June '19, the owner has just this 56 minutes ago pointed out to me I had mistakenly meant another place, yes I thought it was the new Pizza place down further, as my carer goes to collect the takeaways, consequently still have the right place, known as A1 Pizza and still stand by my review pointing out that I notice another customer of the A1 Pizza place also thought the toppings were light on, no big drama still yummy food needing more sauces with regards to the ribs.

Great pizza. The pizza literally fill the box, and it was brilliant. Great staff. Love the feel of the place. Reminds me of pizza places of 30 years ago. Pinball machine and jukebox included.

I will never order pizza from here as there is nothing worse then seeing a delivery car with a dog in the back. I find that disgusting and not a good thing to see in a delivery car and to make it worse it was the owner driving the car. I would hate to see what goes on behind the counter if you allow this in your delivery car.

Not bad pizzas and good service shop could do with a good clean and if staff on view they should look tidy (my opinion)

Wouldn't order from here again! Ordered delivery, was told 45 minutes, an hour and 40 minutes later a stone cold pizza arrived. $38 and an attitude when you call up to let them know about it.no resolution, just the comment "well what do you want me to do about it"

Generally good service, however multiple times I have ordered a pizza and asked for something to be taken off and they haven’t been. Tonight I ordered no anchovies or pepperoni; pizza was covered in anchovies.

I so love A1 pizzas.

Very disappointed, ordered delivery, 1 hour later rang to find out where my pizza was only to find out they stuff the order up and it was going to be another 30 minutes.cancelled order, not happy

Just travelled 1000 kms staying in a local motel. Wasn't aware of their menu and asked for a pizza with certain toppings. The guy said we dont serve flash pizzas and recommended another pizza place and hung up. I called back and said i was serious and was looking for a pizza. He reiterated we dont serve flash pizzas. Told him he has lost a sale. Nice employees you have, teach them customers come first. December 26 2017. You can figure out which douchebag it was.

Actually caught up with an old friend which was great. Unfortunately it was overcooked. It was a thin base with lovely toppings but overcooked cheese has a horrible taste. Will try again but ask to cook for less time.
