94 West reviews
37Service here is really great, friendly, helpful, and food was ok. It can be a bit noisy, there was a table of guys who were extremely loud and the noise carried.
Wish I had more time to try the menu, certainly enjoyed the coffee, will return, staff very good.
Excellent cafe, with great service and food.
Plenty of space, but this place does get a crowd.
It's got it's regular customers and that's because it's that good!
Coffee is top line, beans are fresh and have the right aroma.
Nice car park right next door, but can be hard to get a park.coz it's a busy cafe.
Haven't had a bad coffee or meal there yet.
94 West has a great atmosphere, clearly a very popular coffee shop and there's a good reason for it. Very friendly service, very efficient team of barristers and great tasting coffee. Plenty of scrumptious food to chose from, and plenty of seating. Definitely worth heading in fir a coffee if you haven't before.
The food was good, not great but the thing that put me off was the cleanliness & service.
2/8 of our cups were dirty and when I requested for new cups they never brought it.
Unfortunately one of the waiters was also not as friendly or just having a bad day.
Mate that recommended this place to the group did say that it’s not usually like this. So I’ll give it another try sometime down the road.
Very cozy place, friendly, welcoming and attentive staff. Busy, but not in a way that makes you feel like you need to leave.
Only complaint is the feta cheese is to the salty side, other than that it's a spotless hipster cafe
Actually go here a fair bit because they have great food, great coffee and a great atmosphere
I’ve eaten here twice now and it is amazing! Superb food and coffee, and the staff are wonderful. The pictured meal is the chilli eggs and it is the best brunch meal I’ve ever had - 5 stars isn’t enough!
Good coffee, consistent, 2nd cup was the same as the first.
Cool walls, liked the variety in the textures.
Little noisy but most Cafe's are.
Another decent brunch place with a typical brunch menu. Spacious seating and outdoor benches as well. The food is decent but the coffee is great enough to warrant 5 stars. It can get very popular on the weekends so beware if hoping to eat in on a Sunday morning.
Pictured: big breakfast
The most disgusting experience for an expensive breakfast. The HAM Hock Benny dish was JUST SOME deep fried some cheap meat with drenched in butter AND HOLLANDAISE SAUCE arving almost 30mins after we ordering our food. No one bothers or even acknowledge. It's a complete waste of money. Coffee is JUST OK. Iced chocolate served in a whisky glass in a funny manner. Very very disappointing and NO ONE CARES.
A nice place on Grange road to have a good coffee and good food.
I had the avo smash on rye with feta and beetroot, it doesn’t come with eggs but you can add them for $3 each, I added scrambled eggs.
A bit pricey but worth it, everything was very nice and I would definitely go back again!
Eat at 94 West every Wednesday. The atmosphere, staff, food and beverages are excellent. Usually have 2 or 3 coffees. Recommend the coffees they are "Barista" quality. Love all the staff they are friendly and good at what they do. Special mention to Anita who makes beautiful coffee with love! ️M️
Waiting for decades to get our food. But I do understand it is Saturday, probably there are several orders before ours.
However, I am so disappointed with the service and my order. After we ordered the food, the young lady told us she would grab some water for our table after she put the order for us. But we haven’t got any until we asked for that again (15 mins after). Seems like she completely forgot that. I have ordered Eggs Benedict but found the eggs are fully cooked (should be runny eggs). Hams are smoked without any other flavour that they are supposed to have.
But TBH, my partner’s Cheeseburger is marvellous. Very juicy and cheesy. The pity thing is although chips are cooked well, they come without any salts and sauce. The price here is high, but the quality of service and food is under my expectations.
Awesome place. The sweet potato and chorizo was a highlight, as well as the buttermilk pancakes. Coffee is great too, awesome soy latte.
Food & coffee were good. A bit noisy. Parking area needs repairing. Allot of pot holes & very dangerous if someone falls in them.
Atmosphere was nice and service was good. A couple major letdowns though: 1. For the juice - read the fine print, it's not made fresh although it reads that way, and it's watery and very sweet. 2. The food looked incredible, but lacked any flavour. Seems to me this is another one of those "Instagram first" eateries. 3. The Rye bread with the smashed avo was super tough and hard to cut with the supplied blunt knife. I'm 90kg+ and shouldn't find cutting bread so difficult. I couldn't imagine a grandma trying to eat this dish. Overall the cost of the food and drink didn't match the expected output.
First time here & will be back! Delicious coffee and food. Very spacious cafe with plenty of seating & pram friendly is a bonus.
Great coffee, well made latte art with a nutty taste. Had the Holy Halloumi burger with lettuce, tomato and beetroot sauce. Fresh and cooked perfectly. Staff were good, ambience was warm and inviting.
This is the closest cafe to my home and I used to come here on a semi regular basis, but the food is too inconsistent in quality. Sometimes it is good and other times it is very average. I came here today because I was meeting someone who suggested 94 West. I had a fried chicken burger and the chicken was so greasy, I felt sick after. It wasn't worth $20. Also the coffee was not hot enough when it was delivered to my table.
On previous occasions at this cafe I've noticed that young attractive females tend to get a friendlier greeting from at least one of the male baristas as they enter the cafe. If you don't fall into that demographic you are lucky to get a greeting at all. Having said that, we did get a greeting from a female employee there today.
I now prefer to head 1km east along Grange Road for a great coffee, good food and friendly service (for everyone).
