90 Mile Wines: Wharf Barrel Shed reviews
34Really sad today had toasted parmigiana army sandwich which we had a few times very disappointing not a nice flavours at all sorry we won't be back when we complained was told we always use the same chicken err no you don't no it's not the same you say breaded chicken ours wasn't been here many times lived it definitely not the same today
Excellent spot, great view, excellent service. Good quality wines, and great pricing. Happy hour 5-6 daily. We enjoyed it one day, and came back again the next. Top spot.
A great location in the heart of Goolwa - if you're passing through, you must try it!
Bragging about the quality of your toasties is not something that I thought I'd ever be impressed by, but this place definitely deserves it.
To call these toasties great would be doing them a disservice; they are simple (yet surprisingly complex) and introduce amazing flavours in a bite size serving
As blown away as I am with the food, the location and drinks deserve their own praise - getting to see the best Goolwa has to offer and served by beautifully friendly staff
If you're ever in town, try a toastie (My vote is for the godfather with pineapple)
I am a regular customer at the Wharf Barrel Shed. Always a great welcome. Always excellent service. Free smiles with every drink. Great food to match brilliant wine selections. These days I drive over 25 km to get there & don't regret the trip. Thank you very much Steve, Chris, families and staff. Update - Its now 6 years since we moved from Goolwa and now have returned. So good to be back in proximity to the Wharf Barrel Shed and to find it's just the same level of excellence we have experienced in the past. Cannot recommend this place highly enough.
We enjoyed a very nice wine sitting on the deck in the late afternoon overlooking the Port of Goolwa.
Great location for an afternoon drink or platter. Great variety of wine on offer and some great local beers and food. Atmosphere is always positive and fun and great staff.
Can be chilly outside, but they have awnings with plenty of rugs available.
Great live music! Happy hour Mon-Fri 4-6
OK
Let me tell you about this place on Friday evenings.
If you would like lemonade go somewhere else this place do not sell it, if you would like shandy, like me, go somewhere else this place do not sell it, if you order pint it will be smaller then a pint.
And really important thing on Saturday evening at 8pm chairs, tables will be starting to disappear as they preparing to close done at 9pm. You are made to feel so unwelcome
Staff are a delight and the wine was delicious.
Having a platter and sitting out on the deck with the heaters on with wine. I mean. Isn't that a great way to spend an afternoon in Goolwa? !
Stopover on the Cockle Train ride.
Coffees, and hot chocolate with marshmallows ️, at the request of birthday boy️
Such genuine and friendly people.
Lovely to sit and watch the river flow by.outside and inside seating.
What a nice block!
Enjoyed a glass of 90 mile riesling with a beautiful view.
Unfortunately we arrived after kitchen was closed so couldn’t taste the toasties!
An excellent waterfront venue on the river at Goolwa with an extensive list of wines and beers available. This unique cellar door bar is supported by a very friendly and welcoming team, who all provide a great customer experience every time. Thank you 90 Mile Wines Wharf Barrel Shed!
Nice atmosphere and a great location
Excellent range of craft beers and some lovely local wines
Will definitely visit again when live music is scheduled
Nice spot. Not a very big range of drinks though. Hopefully gets expanded when the update gets done
A great cheese platter that catered for my GF wife. Fantastic beer on tap and 90 mile wines. However, the door kept opening!
Friendly staff and excellent service. Not a big place but plenty of people enjoying a Friday evening drink.
We came in after a very disappointing visit to the neighbouring Steam Exchange Brewery. The contrast was amazing. Here we got great service, an excellent selection of craft beer and wine and a happy hour (4pm to 6pm on weekdays). Nice waterfront views as well Highly recommended!
Very relaxed atmosphere. The community we're friendly and there was a band called The River rats, played great music.
It was a great way too relax with nice weather and a couple of the boat's taking people out for cruises.
They had great if not the best tasting toasted sandwiches and great wine, beer and my favourite Moscato.
I'd recommend this place. Worth the visit
Perfect for a vino, cheese platter, toasted sandwiches and a spectacular view. Awesome friendly staff!
For sure the best toasted sangas ever.
Loved the relaxing location and wine choices by the glass.
