11Being an older, mature male, I go traditional & order Squid "salt'n'pepper" Top notch, quality meal.
Food was delicious and interior was well kept
however the price of meals compared to the amount of protein in the actual dish was disappointing.it felt like portions were too small or were made up almost entirely of vegetables.i ordered the spicy chilli with boneless chicken and it felt like the plate was made up entirely of chili instead of chicken.for $22 it wasn’t worth it.
Little restaurant but with good selection of Asian dishes. We ordered a variety of soup, veggies, and meat dishes. The serving is quite big for the price you pay. Well worth another visit and recommend to anyone looking for places serving late night meals.
My favourite Chinese takeaway. Their spicy chilli chicken and honey chicken is pretty nice.
Quite possibly the worst dumplings venue I’ve ever attended.
Firstly, front of house was terrible in even getting me seated, and when I asked for a table for two, I was left with a dumbfounded attendant who then failed to even seat us.
The food was ordinary, and their condiments even worse. How can you do dumplings and not have basic soy sauce, vinegar and chilli on the table?
You provide water glasses but no water, and the tiny serviettes wouldn’t even cover a minor stain.
I would vote this no stars if I could, and don’t understand how you run a business.
Staff have very limited english making it hard to get proper service, food is pretty average, they dont have soy sauce on the side unless you buy it.
One of the yummiest tofu dishes I've tasted with preserved egg on top. Pretty tasty dumplings too, just could have been a bit warmer. Glad they are open at 1am too
Update: since the restaurant has replied, here are some attached order I have made previously. I have clearly stated the orders were taken last week and a while back. And their menu had Corn & pork rib soup in November, but not now anymore. The address, name and menu matched the address on maps.
Original: Been there so many times and it becomes worse and worse each time. It was one of my favourite midnight restaurants to go, but lately it’s really disappointing. Order a corn & pork rib soup a while back, the soup was tasteless like water without any seasoning. Paid almost $20 and we didn’t drink much at all. Called them back but nothing was compensated. Last week ordered few items and one came wrong. The rest were too salty, feel like the takeaway order’s quality is unstable and tiny size hate to leave such review, hopefully it changes in the future.
On the outside this place looks like it might serve up generic Aussie Chinese or cheap but mediocre lunch noodle dishes. The menu is surprisingly authentic and the food very good. Quite a surprise given its location.
In this pic:
stir fried chilli garlic beans
hokkien noodles
3 hour cooked pork belly
Food came really fast, the restaurant is neat and tidy and everything was extremely delicious. The chilli garlic beans were amazing, the pork belly was very tender and perfect and the hokkien noodles were good.
Will definitely be coming back to try my way around the menu. (pic of menu also uploaded for anyone curious)
