Having come from the yd.outlet in the nearby Myer store, where the customer service was underwhelming to say the least, where I walked around for approximately 30-45 minutes and completly ignored by the sales team member who was lost on their phone behind the register, walking out not having made a purchase, I ventured to the yd.store itself and was greeted almost immediately by Sebastian who was on hand to assist in getting a last minute suit for a wedding. Great friendly service and assistance. Highly recommend finding this store further into Westfield Chermside and bypassing Myer altogether.

Lucy was an amazing help! I came in for a last minute jacket, she matched my energy and knew exactly what to grab and super helpful through the whole process! Very thankful for her help

After a last minute hiccup my son needed a suit for his formal. We looked at a few shops in chermside with no luck. As we decided to head to Myers but saw Y. D on the way we stopped by. Wow the minute we walked in the service was genuine and so welcoming. After 3 shirts 4 pants and 2 jackets being tried on and just not right. Clothes were everywhere Lucy didn't worry about it we did. As we looked around instore we finally found something my son was happy with the service and warmth from Lucy was just beautiful. A real genuine Lady who loved her job Thank you Lucy you ease alot of worry from us.

Went in looking for an idea for a wedding suit, and knew roughly what i was after. Lucy helped me find what i needed and gave great outfit combinations to show me. She even stayed back after closing so that my partner could come in and have a look at the outfit that she put together for me. Highly reccommend!

The sales lady was very helpful. She was very good at picking out matching pieces to go with the suit. Her level of service went far above and beyond that of any other retailers’. Makes for an easy shopping experience.

Had the best experience with the talented Talia. She helped suit up our son from top to bottom for his formal. Her enthusiasm and eye for fashion was rare & genuine. She included our whole family in the experience. She even offered to deliver our suit to us so we got it in time (luckily it came in plenty of time). Thanks Talia & Yd!

Guy working there was super helpful and not in the annoying over the top non genuine way that is becoming typical of clothing stores. He helped find a jack that i wasn't looking for.

Went in store this afternoon just to have a look for a shirt for my upcoming 21st, and not only left with that but with a cool pair of ice blue chinos, all at the wonderful recommendation of Tim! Super easy to have a chat to, shared numerous laughs and now has me set on a full blue theme for my party outfit! The other staff member who came on just as I was checking out was super chatty and easy to get along with as well! Commendable service! Went in to get an outfit for a mates birthday. The help I received was perfect and I walked out with a great outfit, thanks to the two legends that were on.

Staff always offer to help, which can sometimes border on pushy but generally it is more than fine. The store is a bit cramped with all the stock everywhere but assistance finding the right clothes or the best size is always available, and there are fitting rooms for trying clothes on before you buy. Prices are generally as cheap or cheaper than most similar shops, especially when sales are on.

Great experience at this shop, i was actually on my way to David Jones when i thought i would quickly have a look in YD and the sales assistant Liam approached me and after speaking with him and getting his opinion and outstanding service decided to get everything from there, great service really does go along way and i would shop there again and recommend this shop and his service to family and friends!
