7A great short 5km return hike that gets the heart pumping. Normal trail conditions of tree roots, rocks, 260m elevation gain. Good view at top over Atherton and countryside.
maps took us to a dead end street. Locals said other people been sent there too. No walk known to them or observed.
Nice walk, not too steep. A little muddy and was quite foggy when I climbed. Tracks from caravan park can be a little confusing due to many mountain bike tracks. Well worth it. About 4-5kms return.
Great view at the top, rather easy walk. Light grade for first half, moderate grade for the last 500m. Allow 1.5hrs return plus viewing time.
Steady gentle climb for the first 2km.
More challenging the last 500 metres.
But the view is worth it.
This was worth the climb the views are amazing and the backpackers that went with me loved it too
Nice brisk hike up to Mt Yabi, about 1 hour return. Good views from the top of the mountain overlooking Atherton and the Tablelands.
