Yabbey Road reviews
62Truly good old fashioned fish & chips. Generous portion. Be aware of pigeons who actively grabbing food from the tables or left on the ground
Great British fish and chips! Yum!
Phone your order before you get there to avoid waiting!
A Lot of fish for your money. They are also one of the few places I have come across that does Gluten Free Batter so it was good to have a piece of Battered Red Emporer and you get a decent serving for your money. They also have Gluten Free Potato Cakes/scallops for Qld'ers. Nice outdoor seating and great 60s music. Beatles themed throughout.
Great food great atmosphere! Worth the time to get there! Easy parking! Beautiful near the water!
Wasn't the best and wasn't the worse but not racing back there anything soon. Nothing particularly bad but nothing good also.
Excellent fish and chips everytime, friendly staff sometimes a long line up but food is served quite quickly usually
Delicious food, great service. They were suuuuppper busy so unfortunately the wait was really long but it was worth it!
Yabbey road always has the freshest fish. If you don't like "fishy fish" and/or want to introduce someone who's new and sensitive to seafood, Yabbey Road is the place to go. The fresh cod has no fishy flavour and is a delight to eat. Try the battered one, they do a well rounded and not too thick batter. Thier sauces are also handmade and taste great - Eg: Roast garlic Aioli.
It was very average fish and chips, and despite the name and gimmick, it's not a British fish and chip shop.
Also took 25 minutes for cod and chips.
Best fish and chips in Queensland. Best salt and pepper calamari. Love this place. I would travel from brisbane to Redcliffe just to eat it.:)
Best gluten free fish and chips in brisbane. GF batter, GF chicken salt. Can even do fried pineapple ring.
Always yummy fish & chips here. That’s why we keep coming back. Nice sea breeze with old tunes playing. It’s great
Order a take away fish and chips took one hour , can anybody believe it? this is crazy, whatever it tastes,it is just tooooo long
Decent quality chips and fish, the service was really good, and they gave us extra lemon when we asked.
Very happy with the customer service myself and my daughter received.
Tables were clean and fun with the ticket stubs and the view of the ocean was spectacular.
Food was well cooked, plentiful and delicious
Best gluten free fish ever. The chips are the old fashion crunchy outside fluffy inside. Best I've ever eaten will be back.
The food is pretty good most of the time. But we found it overpriced for what you get. The portion size seems to be getting lesser and lesser. So does our attendance.
Order was incorrect. Missing 1 COD from the order, chips portions were tiny and the curry source was terrible. Very disappointed considering they charged a public holiday surcharge. Will not be back.
Food was fantastic, it was nice to have English style fish & chips with salt & vinegar with mushy peas
