Woombye Butchery

This is a great old school butcher, bell on the door when you walk in, greeted with friendly service, fantastic quality meats and very reasonable prices. By far my favourite butcher on the Sunshine Coast.

Love this place!

Open 6am to 6pm during the week, and 6am to 1pm on Saturdays mean I don't have to take time off from work to go shopping. (. And I believe they have a delivery option as well!)

Super quality meats, fair prices (including bulk buy options) and a very decent range of products check all the boxes one would expect from a premium butcher, but by far the most impressive, is the service.

Every single person here will go out of their way to make a customer feel welcome and appreciated, nothing is ever any effort, and they seem to be at their happiest if they can patiently explain to you how to get the best value for money, or the most versatile cut, or even just what things are called in meat world.

I particularly like the lamb-kebabs and yesterday when I went to buy some none were displayed. Dismayed, I asked the young man if he had any left and he offered to go and make some up for me! Even suggested some great sauces to go with them. Gentle reader they were delicious!

Bought a few things the other day, we've had the beef and bacon wheel wrapped in filo and had the Mongolian lamb parcels tonight. Excellent!

Searched high and low for decent steak for our cafe’s steak sanga. These are the best, recommended by one of our customers and only compliments since we changed over. Great service and super friendly efficient staff.

Excellent country butchery. Quality meats, willing to cut Meat the way I want. The ribeye was tender as, and the pork snags are awesome.

Freshly made pork sausages, soft and lean. Huge bacon rashers; take them home for breakfast along with espresso from across the street at the bakery.

This place is perfect! They regularly go out of their way to make sure the customers are satisfied. The attitude of all the staff and apprentices is second to none. The meat is fresh and always cooks up well. Cannot recommend this place enough. Love it!
