Woolworths Spring Hill reviews
42Has heaps of variety, the main let down is people that buy more items are made to feel like they are an inconvenience as they don't open the big checkouts.
Always well stocked and a pretty good range for a small supermarket. Plenty of parking and you can get it delivered straight to your boot
Been sick because of not fresh pineapple.
They were sour and now I have to go to the hospital so it hurts.
Pretty good Woolworths. Has everything I care for. Doesn't get as good as bargains as some others.
Not a fan. Granted it's an inner city CBD store but parking is rubbish, the store is messy. Not the standard I've come to expect from Woollies.
Eggs, milk and bread are not available most of the time. Need to refill the essential items regularly.
This woolworths is small but it has everything you need, very friendly staff happy to help you at any time. Good offers and all products are easy to find.
Great for a quick shop but not for a weekly shop the checkouts are too tight for trolleys and they hardly ever have anyone on checkouts, as this is a smaller location the variety of products is reduced as well and the parking can be a little scarce.
Just visited Woolworths for my lunch today and experienced appalling service from the two older women behind the hot counter. One asked me "leg or wing" which I misheard and answered "yes please. " They had a go at me and told me to "get off my phone while being served. " Which regardless of not being true seems to me to be none of their business. I treat all staff with respect and would have the basic expectation from a customer service staff to receive the same treatment. Hope you address these staff members. Incredibly rude.
Carpark smelt of urine, bread packaging had already been opened, check out staff were too busy talking amongst one another to serve efficiently and simple things like the trolley disinfectant wipes hadn't been refilled
Not a bad Woolworths, but it is a smaller store so don’t expect an expansive range.
There are also minimal manned checkouts (mostly self serve).
I realise this isn't a huge store, but their range could probably be expanded to incorporate some more products.
Parking is a pain. The traffic layout is anything but easy and would be a challenge for visitors or tourists.
Basically you can only enter from Turbot St but during busy times it's wise to avoid the Turbot street entry and instead head around to the back entry in Perry lane
Sushi bar is great always fresh, havent encountered any staff to be able to comment on friendliness, all seem to hide a bit
Busy little woolworths with a smaller range than other stores. One star is for begrudging customers collecting the promotions on lion King ooshies and garden stuff etc. Always left feeling embarrassed for asking for the promotional item that I'm entitled to. I'm changing over to Coles now.
I always went to the city cause I didn't know there's one so close to me, glad I found you and more fresh salmon for me.
Went here at 1pm today and went to the deli to get a small salad the tubs are $3 for a small (sign on counter) ; the salad had no PLU/sign on it and the deli staff member serving me (male with beard) asked his colleagues if they knew the PLU to put into the system. None of them knew the PLU off the top of their head; 3-4 staff started looking for the PLU/Sign that normally sits on the salad; they then checked the stock list - this happened over a period of about 5-7 minutes of my lunch break -
I then looked to the other end of the deli and the male staff member was now serving someone else in the mean time as the rest of his team were looking for the PLU/stock item number. I ended up walking out as I couldn't be bothered wasting any more of my time for the staff to find the PLU/product tag that should be on the product anyway. When they could just use another PLU or write $3 on the tub - ontop of that the male staff member didn't fill the container fully either.
I always shop in there, however some of the women in self checkout and counters need to have smiles in there faces and learn more about customer service.
Not your full sized supermarket but it certainly was busy with locals and visitors alike this Easter weekend. Thank you to the team at Spring Hill for ensuring that everything was stocked on the shelves and moving at the checkouts.
For crying out loud. Keep your stock levels up. Always low on things like Cheese Kranksy's, Haagen Dazs salted caramel ice cream, Geez, even my 15yr old son wants a job there to keep the shelves stocked. Think about it it's not hard.
As a foreigner I thought I would be a little lost while grocery shopping but it was very organized and I could find everything I needed. Also the self cash out thing is great, I never saw this where I came from and I was a little confused with it but an employee promptly came to help me out, great service.
