Even though this isn't a full-scale Woolies, it has an excellent range of groceries and necessities for anybody staying in the area. I was glad to stop by on my travels through the area!

My local supermarket. Great staff service, great range of products for a 'metro' size store. Competitive prices as well. Adjacent to other quality specialty shops and restaurants.

This is a great mini Woolworths, they stock a wide range of products including a good fruit and veg.section and roast chickens too. The prices are fair and it's nice to see that the Company hasn't inflated these because it's a Metro and there's a captive clientele living upstairs. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the store is always clean and tidy; highly recommended.

This 5 stars are only for the supervisor Alexandria who is lovely to deal with and also alwz happy to help customers.
And on the other hand the other guy tall who normally at the self checkout is super rude.
Wish they had more ppl like alexandria

On a Sunday afternoon, I am writing to congratulate Metro Woolworth Southport for having an employee like ALEX, young man who seems to be in the storaging and stock area. After 4 times thinking on saying something about him, today I decided to let you know from a Customer point of view, how efficient and pleasant is this young man, always with a smile and very helpful about location of those items that normally customers ask for. We are very good at complaining and I have done it in the past, but it is important to highlight positive things. Woolworth, please keep an eye on him, there is a lot of potential in this employee.

Last night I was served by a young man called Finn. He was quick with his work and I was astonished by his polite manner. This kid really made my day after a tough day at the work. I was really impressed.

This is the worst customer service Woolworths store I have ever been.
Unfriendly staff. Cold faces. They have no idea what is customer service.
I believe they are so happy about the free coffee is finished.
The young staff are not too bad. They have two old staffs are the worst.
But there is also an old lady I think her name is called Andrea. She is very nice.
Woolworths is a big company should avoid staffs like this.

This is absolutely the best store. The management and staff are so caring and supportive. My husband is seriously ill and was recently in hospital for a serious procedure when someone broke in to our locked garage and stole his new mobility scooter. I went into the store to do my weekly shop and as usual everybody asked after our welfare. I was upset and told them what had happened. The next day when I was there again the management and staff presented me withflowers and chocolates. So grateful for their support. Such a great store.

I am absolutely APPALLED at the lack of ‘customer service’ I was shun this morning by one of your staff members: name badge read Julie (late 60’s early 70’s).
After buying the wrong product, 12 hours prior, I’d come back early morning to request a refund with my receipt in hand. I was rudely shrugged off after being told “Woolworths do not refund on change of mind”. I accepted what she said but was extremely disappointed by the way I was spoken to. Uncertain of what I was told, I then went onto your website and read under your exchange policy that an exchange could be made for ‘changes of mind’ on unopened goods with receipt within 30 days. So I went back to request an exchange, believing I was eligible for one only to be served by the same RUDE disrespectful lady. I explained that I wanted to exchange my item for something else.
NEVER have I ever been treated in such an unpleasant and impolite way in my life. I confronted her with the Woolworths exchange policy on my phone and explained that based on what was online I was eligible for one. However she denied me with the grossest sarcastic smile I have ever seen and called me a ‘tiger’. Not entirely sure what her purpose was with that but absolutely uncalled for as I would never disrespect someone by name calling. It honestly seemed like she got satisfaction in denying me good service or trying to come up with a solution. I understand that sometimes we do not have the best of days, but I really believe her attitude and demeanour towards me went too far. I would hate for anyone else to be treated and spoken to the same way I was.
I would appreciate some clarity as to whether or not this staff member is making up her own rules or simply ignoring your stores policies? I hope to hear back from someone as my issue is still unresolved. I’m looking for a quick solution and would like to resolve this without having to pursue other avenues.

The small coffee and snack counter is a great feature of this store. I often call by on my bike ride around the Broadwater and nearby streets and get a takeaway coffee. An excellent service.

Think its the worst customer service I have seen from a Woolworths store. Staff unfriendly and unwilling to help. More interested about talking to each others weekend than serving and helping the customer. I live in the local area and would rather walk to Australia Fair than deal with those location.

Woolworths is always my first choice, but there's a big problem in Woolworths Metro broadwater, There's a staff, I don't know her name, with dark hair and glasses on, she never has smile on her face, she thinks it's a kind of army camp Today when I forgot to pay for a small thing she called me out badly, and I think it's not good for Woolworths brand, if she had at least a mild smile, I never ever leave a review.please stop being frowny

Purchased a packet of peanuts from the “fresh food people” which turned out to be expired and rotten/bitter in taste, when returning the next day I dealt with an attitude problem and a very rude employee who then called for her manager who had just as bad an attitude problem. Will definitely not be shopping here again would never have this problem with Coles or Aldi

This is a great little Woolworths Metro store very conveniently located in the Sundale Meriton building. Never very busy, decent range, friendly staff and very convenient for a quick shop. The coffee is surprisingly good too so bonus points for that

Living above this store is very convenient. Jess makes the best coffee)

Hi everyone I’ve been doing shopping with Woolworths for over 30 years today I have very bad and hurt feeling experience over my phone voucher I am with Optus I picked the wrong one Telstra I asked them to fix my mistake Store manager very rude to me she ask security to kick me out from the store why I don’t know please someone help me because I am respectful to everyone why the bully to me is big question to my identity!
