Woodlands Early Education Centre

I have 3 physical children, eldest being 10. Each one of my children have attended.

You know how you walk into a place and you can feel it in your body that it’s a good environment? Woodlands is that place for me. I visited a few daycares but woodlands stood out the most.

In 2016, when my son passed away (hadn’t even attended yet) the staff at woodlands bought him a star in the sky and gifted it to us. Something I will cherish forever, and really shows their empathy for the families - that you’re not just a name on a list.

We moved suburbs and had to leave for a bit and my eldest attended 3 other daycares but none were like woodlands, they didn’t have the love, care and happiness that Woodlands have - so I drove that little bit longer so he could go back.
Even after 9 years - they still have a lot of the same staff - who love my children and care for them as if they were their own. I am very grateful for the staff here and this centre.
I genuinely hope that you read this review and know it comes from someone who has sent all 3 of their children here over 9 years and if it wasn’t an incredible centre I wouldn’t be here writing this review.

Woodlands Early Education Centre, has been a pleasant and amazing experience.

My daughter Skyla has been completing her kindergarten (pre-prep) education here. She has great relationships with the teachers Miss Bec and Miss Amy as well as Ms Vicki. Skyla recently attended her Prep enrolment interview and the Principal was absolutely thrilled at how much Skyla knew and how prepared for prep she was.

I have recommended woodlands to all my friends who are looking for a really good centre, and I will continue to recommend even when our time ends in 2024, due to starting prep. Skyla has learnt to count to 20, knows all the colours, majority of shapes, can tell a story by looking at the pictures, she can recognise her name, she has learnt all her phonics here and sounded out the word SAT by just knowing her phonics. Woodlands have little excursions that come to the school for the children to participate in and they even do Swimming lessons weekly also. Which has built my daughter's confidence in the water.

Our Son has attended Woodlands for just under 12 months now due to recommendations of our family and friends and we are so glad that we made the decision to send our son, even though Woodlands is a half an hour drive for us we couldn't imagine sending our son anywhere else. When it came time to finally make the choice to put our Son in care it was a very hard decision for us finding someone that we trusted to care for our Son as much as we did, Woodlands have by far exceeded our expectations. The staff, educators and Directors are super friendly, helpful and nothing is to much trouble. All the staff make us and our Son welcome and always make drop off as easy as possible especially on days when my Son doesn't want us to leave. Our son has learnt so much since attending the centre and loves the diverse activities inside and out that the eductors arrange for the children and will specifically coordinate activities based on my sons interests. My son has created a very special bond with his Eductors and we could not be more thankful and grateful for his Eductors Miss Ange, Miss Cathy and Miss Grace when the time comes to send our Daughter we will have no hesitation in sending her to Woodlands. If you are looking for an amazing daycare to send your children, you will not be disappointed!

Beautiful & Friendly staff, we are always greeted with a warm welcome by all staff members upon arrival. My daughter always comes home happy, and excited to return the next day. She has developed her speech and social skills better than anticipated. Her learning experiences at day care have enabled her to become more confident and independent at home, I couldn’t be more happier with the utmost care and effort this team puts into our children. ️️️️️

Both of our daughters have attended woodlands since they were 6 months old and they have helped me raise my babies. They have shown them so much love and care, it makes dropping them off for the day so easy. In 4 years we have never had an issue, the staff are always super helpful, accomodating and respond really quickly. My girls love their educators and all of the great activities they do with them. I couldn’t recommend them enough!

Our journey with Woodlands Early Education Daycare has been remarkable. Since 2019, we've entrusted them with our two cherished little ones, and the experience has exceeded our expectations.

Their facilities are outstanding, offering a diverse range of activities that consistently engage and excite our kids. From the captivating outdoor play areas to the creative art studios and interactive learning spaces, Woodlands truly stands out.

This was my minis second attempt at daycare at just 6 months old.my first experience at a DIFFERENT centre was horrendous! Let me tell you this centre is where it’s at! Administration and enrollment FLAWLESS! The managers and ladies at front desk are the most welcoming! They are always kind and smiling. Facilities are awesome and soooo clean! Every single teacher I’ve dealt with wants to love and cherish your mini! They are super supportive of your goals and home routines and try their best to do the same routine during the day. There is always an activity planned for the babies to keep them busy … I always get my daily updates which always include pictures! I love woodlands early education centre!

Today is my kids last day at Woodland Early Education Centre. They attended this childcare when the were fifteen months.
They stayed there for nine years.
Years full of great memories, fun, learning and a friendship still going till now.
Can't thank the team of the childcare enough for looking after them for many years. I always felt welcome and my kids in safe hands. Thank you so much guys. You always going to be a great part of my kid's childhood's memories.

Absolutely recommend the centre. From first entry it’s a warm and helpful welcome. The ladies are always available to help and assist where required. It is a safe and secure centre! Bandicoots room (nursery) - the staff have such an amazing routine, they are open to changing routines schedules to suit your family too! The food Ashton absolutely loves. Always a clean environment with their own private play area! Kindy green - our son has absolutely excelled in his learning he experiences things he wouldn’t normal experience in food, excursions, incursions! Especially love the healthy eating lessons he gets that are always fun and interactive as well as bonus of swimming lessons. The educators in the whole centre are amazing welcoming warm and just beautiful people!

Awesome centre, friendly and professional staff. Staff go out of their way to make you feel welcomed everyday. Clean and tidy outside and in all rooms.

I started my son in the Joey's Room late Feb. As a first time parent it was very daunting and scary. The team at Woodlands EEC are amazing, they made me feel confident and safe with putting my boy in daycare. He would always come home bright and happy. All the staff are so lovely and warm. Special mentions to Miss Naomi, Miss Sandeep, Miss Tara, Miss Chel and Miss Annette for taking special care of my little boy. You guys are great, keep up the great work and care

Love this centre so much and so do my kids! Seeing the bonds formed with their educators every morning and afternoon is so important to me. Always on top of everything and I have zero complaints! Perfect centre to trust with your children.

I was always nervous about putting my daughter in care but after enrolling her in 2 days a week & seeing how much she has learnt & grown from attending I am so glad i did! The educators are amazing! They all do such a good job & you are always greeted with a positive smile. The centre is nice & clean & the playground & outdoors areas are awesome!
My daughter has been attending here for 2yrs now & she loves it! Every day is a fun happy experience for her. She loves her friends, teachers & the fun activities. I highly recommend this Daycare & cannot fault them.

As parents of 3 young boys, we have always tried to have one of us at home to care for the children, and reluctant to begin the daycare experience. This year has seen us both in full time employment for the first time as parents and we could not be more grateful for the loving care that the entire staff offer not only our children, but us as well. We can go to work knowing that our boys are being looked after by staff who ensure their happiness, safety and learning is guaranteed. We are so pleased with the choice we made to join Woodlands EEC.

My daughter has been attending woodlands since before she was 1. She is now 4 and she starts prep next year. Their creative learning / development environment has assisted our daughter prepare well for big school (Kindy). Woodlands staff have been nothing but supportive and accommodating the entire time our daughter has been attending. Can't recommend them more highly.

Our son has been attending Woodlands for 2 years. I can genuinely say that the educators and educational programs that they have provided to him have been absolutely wonderful. I know that when I drop him off he is in the best possible care, feeling loved and nurtured by all while I am at work. My husband and I have a great relationship with all of the staff and really appreciate the support and guidance that they provide to all of us.

Staff are excellent - go above and beyond with each child, friendly and approachable, always greeted with a amile and a hello, playgrounds are amazing and very modern, they run great educational programs, I couldn't recommend them enough:)

We started at Woodlands in 2017. After booking in and seeing a handful of other centres in the wider area, we contacted Woodlands. The director was so lovely on the phone and was the first to suggest we actually bring our daughter in for a play rather than the usual stiff walk through. Within minutes of arriving I knew this was where my daughter would be going to daycare. Over the last 3+ years every member of staff has known my daughter's name. She has had educators who have loved her as if she was family. On the rare occasion we have had any concerns they were dealt with quickly, fairly and with full communication. The activities they organise for the kids are outstanding and more than I could have ever hoped for. As my daughter starts Prep next year, she is prepared and ready thanks to Woodlands' fantastic kindergarten program and teacher. We are even keeping her in for outside of school hours care a few days of the week just to keep her connection to the centre, the staff and her friends she has grown up with. I cannot recommend this centre enough.

PERFECTION! My daughter attended for 5 1/2 years and she had the best time. Great healthy meals, great staff (Miss Hayley S in particular), always friendly and welcoming, Would rate 100 stars if I could.

Today is the last day of my one year old daughter in this centre. We decided to look for another carer for her due to the not so good experiences that we had with this centre. She is my second daughter and I'm not sure if it's because I have so much good experiences from my eldest daughter's day centre that I set up my expectations of care so high from Woodlands. My eldest daughter has been out of her childcare centre for 3 years now but every now and then i still receive messages from her carers asking how she is. That is a deep connection and compassion formed between a parent and the carer which is really missing out in Woodlands.

I want to give an objective feedback not to belittle or demoralize the centre but if possible to help them improve on their service. I have high respect to all the carers and staff, but a little extra mile of compassion will give a worrying parent like me an assurance that our child is being loved and taken cared of.

My daughter attended this centre for only 2 months and the carer who receives her in the morning (Ms. Maddy and Ms. Lorraine) are lovely but the problem I face is during the afternoon when we have to pick her up. I understand that it might have been late for the afternoon shift carers, but it should not change the way they treat kids specially a one year old one. One time we picked her up with a bark (or something that looks like a wood) in her mouth which luckily she didn't swallow. Today I picked her up soaking wet in her clothes. She was sitting outside the play area and the staff haven't even bothered to check what she was sitting on, I'm not sure how long she was wet, but i told the staff i will just change her. And for the two months of her stay in the centre she was always sick and everyday we pick her up I know she was starving with the way she cries out. I decided to post a review as I was writing this review my daughter is now having fever which I am certain it might have been caused by the the wet clothes she was wearing knowing that cold season has now started.

It frustrates me to see how her little body has to cope with the sickness. But at the same time I just would like to call the attention of the management with the kind of service we receive and hoping no other child or family will experience that same we had.
