Wing Chun Queensland is a great school with very welcoming sifu and students. Sifu Jon Poole has created great learning environment with his friendly yet tough teaching style. Sifu Jon is incredibly experienced and it shows through his students. I recommend this school to everyone with an interest in martial arts.

I do private lessons with Sifu Jon. His tuition is excellent. I enjoy my lessons and feel the growth of my skills each week. I am an older woman and can say that after a long search for the right martial arts teacher, I’m so glad I found Sifu Jon.

Great school. Made me feel at home from day one. Sifu Jon Poole is knowledgeable, highly experienced and engaging. Students are friendly, helpful, always looking after each other, having fun and training hard. I really like Saturday morning training when kids and adults train in the same area at the same time…great family fun session to keep the whole family active and give the mind a challenge.

Everyone is treated equally, all the students are friendly and supportive, no one is left out or left behind. This is an excellent Kung Fu school. SiFu Jon Poole is passionate about his art and his school. He is an excellent teacher - knowledgeable, patient and encouraging. The senior members are also very skilled and supportive. The school is suitable for all ages, males and females and has a great sense of membership and friendship. Skills taught have practical self defence applications and respect the traditional art form. SiFu Jon is also active in organising events for his students which further enhances the Wing Chun experience. Sifu is a wonderful teacher and incredibly generous with sharing his knowledge. He is very approachable and is always willing to answer any of your questions. His classes are carried out with a great atmosphere and all his students are friendly. Wing Chun Queensland 2017 Historical Tour to Hong Kong and China. WHAT A TRIP!

I just recently returned from the biennial trip to Hong Kong and China and looking back it was a once in a lifetime trip. In under 2 weeks I trained with students of Ip Chun (Grandmaster Ip Man's son), visited the Shaolin Temple, climbed the Great Wall and so many other things that I will never forget. The hotels, right down to the tour guides and local personalities we met with were fantastic and organised and executed exceptionally well. Travelling with my fellow classmates was also such a great bonding experience facilitated in no small part by Sifu Jon Poole and his senior students. I highly recommend this trip to anyone wanting to see and experience things and culture that most travellers would ever dream of.
