8I returned shoes (my fault) and was fully refunded by a very friendly and professional lady. I'll be coming back to this shop for my next pair of shoes.
Went in today to return a pair of heels that didn’t suit my event, I was served by Madeleine who was extremely rude and unpleasant. She at first told me I had to pick something to exchange them for and then when I said I wasn’t after exchange could i please refund them she said “i will only give you a gift card or store credit” and I double checked and asked if I could just have a refund as I wouldn’t spend the credit voucher and my receipt said I could return them. She responded with “we prefer store credit” in a very rude tone implying she just didn’t want to do the refund for me.
Another coworker heard her and came over and said a refund is perfectly fine and she’ll put it through for me. Madeleine rolled her eyes at me and didn’t say a word after that. Am unsure as to why she took it so personally that I wanted to return a pair of shoes! Will definitely never return and would recommend you go somewhere else if you would like good service.
Very happy with my purchase and the service of the two lady’s Olisha and Kiara they were amazing and very helpful I will definitely be back! ️️
On 07/11/22 my husband and I attended the Australia Fair store and we were served by Nicolette. I wanted to say the service was outstanding. Nicolette assisted us with a variety of options going so far as to order our shoes online to have them delivered to our home as they were not available in the store. This above and beyond service has ensure I will be a repeat customer. Well Done!
I was looking for shoes for my son and the staff member who assisted us was extremely attentive, very personable and even explained to me about my child being between sizes and how to ensure he had the best possible fit - which was very handy information to know and I will definately go back again.
Went to Williams the Shoeman at Runaway to buy work shoes. The sales assistant was extremely polite, attentive and friendly and went out of her way to help me find a suitable pair. Fast forward three weeks and I have had a terrible allergic reaction and my feet have blistered every time I wear the shoes. They were more than happy to take the shoes back and a different assistant, who was just as polite and helpful, went through many pairs of shoes to help me find another another suitable pair. Absolutely amazing service ladies. I am hugely grateful.

Purchased deck shoes Sat 8th of May 2021, the seam came apart after 15mins of wearing them.
Returned them following Monday only to be told they didn’t have replacement pair but Runaway Bay store did although darker colour.no problem.
When can pick them up, was told they would only have them delivered for an extra $15 or I could go to Runaway Bay store!
A faulty pair of shoes supplied by Williams not even an apology have already wasted an hour returning them now I have to travel at my own expense to another store to have them replaced.
In these troubled times where most businesses are struggling, I experience one of the worst examples of customer service.period.really p.d off!
