Very lucky to have a place like this. I’m an Uber driver, it’s too easy to eat junk food on the road. I had a passenger on her way to work at Whites and she said give them a go. Great recommendation. Healthy sandwiches with a good range of fillings. Excellent pre made Salad boxes, love your Caesar salad. Keep up the good work.

Highly recommend their House Brand Chocolates! Hoping they will bring back the Orange flavour soon!

Arrived there 5 minutes after closing time, I knew it was late but I drove 10 hours to Townsville, I was very tired and I just wanted to buy some cold meat and relax at the apartment I booked.

They were gracious enough to let me in with a smile on their lips, and that's worth a five stars for the service.

Just bought a wonderful marinated rump! Absolutely quality. Been overseas for 25 years and so glad to still see a local butcher with such great meat! Tender and great flavour.

Can honestly say this is one of the best local businesses in the region. CJ and the team are a warm, welcoming and professional team who consistently deliver high quality products. Love this place and recommend it to others frequently.

Effort from Whites has gone down hill recently, especially in regards to their sandwiches and rolls. Constantly missing sauce / fillings which we've asked for. Quite the disappointment when you drive all the way home just to find out.

White's grocers is stuff of local legend. One stop shop for your culinary quintessentials. I've been trying to lose weight for many years but I would rather risk obesity related illnesses then go a day without one of their pies. The Burgundy beef makes me believe in Jesus, The Korean Katsu would entice Kim Jong Un to visit the Ville and the Crying Tiger would make Gordon Ramsay not swear. The ladies in there are always lovely and accommodating.

In summary it's not bad in there, go and check it out!

Excellent food! Excellent selection! Loveliest people! This is the best grocery store - it's the way hometown grocery stores were meant to be. Everyone is so nice and helpful. The selection and quality of items are superb, the best of everything. The prepared food is absolutely delicious. (The wonderful staff have even made special efforts to accommodate my food allergies.) Thank you for this grocery store!

This place is absolutely fantastic, from the customer service to the produce, to the ease of parking. The most commendable aspect is the willingness of the staff to lend a hand. I frequent as a customer of the butchery, everything is of exceptional quality and has tastes to match.
I cannot suggest enough the onion, mushroom and steak pies. I challenge anybody to find better pies that match the variety and quality. Goodluck, because the pies are Australian gold award winning!

I love this shop.lots of fresh food, good coffee, friendly staff that create a relaxing, family atmosphere to shop. The best sandwiches in town and lots of local/ nth qld products. The butchery at the back have a great selection and always helpful with cooking tips, a tasty variety of sausages and always happy to prepare your meat as needed.

Dependable corner store with a variety of quality items including fresh flowers. All comes with a price.

Great store with fantastic pre made meals, so delicious and home cooked. We were in T'ville for business and these dinners saved the day. The fruit salads were also a huge hit.

Terrible experience in store today. All staff were rude and I was treated as though I am a shop lifter simply because I am a person of colour. Staff were reluctant to assist me find what I was looking for, extremely discouraged from returning to this store.

Whites are seemingly always open for when ever we need them. Not expensive prices but high quality produce. Way better than 711, night owl or any other of those stores. The pies are also exceptional, I’d have to say they are my most favourite.
Definitely worth dropping in to even say Gday to the friendly staff.

Absolute perfection in a deli. Their range of cheese, salads and gourmet fresh foods is outstanding. We enjoyed pies their during our second visit to this shop and even my husband who rarely comments on food RAVED about his pie. The staff are wonderful and very friendly - patiently waiting for me to make my selection. If this shop was not 3 days drive from my home I would have an awkward relationship with it! Beautiful?

If you dare for a shopping experience beside the large chains, then wait no second. This shop is full of fresh and extraordinary goods, like local products. Integrated is a butcher, who had a small good choice of meat and sausages. Everything for cooking and next barbie.

Always great sandwiches and lunches, with a great little shop for goods and a butchery in the back. Great ham and never fault their fruit n veg.
