Unfortunately my experience at White Lily Couture was not enjoyable. When arriving I was asked to wait for 10 minutes while the girl was fluffing around at the back. We then spoke for another 10-15 minutes about what kind of dress I wanted, what kind of style I was after and other wedding info. It felt like all that time allocated to getting a history from me wasn’t even implemented though when actually trying to find a dress. We went upstairs to look through the dresses and I felt completely on my own with no assistance actually trying to find dresses matching my description I had previously just told her. The lady was more interested in trying to tell my bridesmaids where everything was from, designers, how long they took to get here etc. I was then more stressed when she said “oh you’re running out of time, you’ve only got two dresses you’ve picked to try on- you better hurry”. I was just left frantically trying to rummage through the racks to find something. I felt like discount dresses were pushed on me to purchase TODAY for 10% off. It honestly also felt like it was her first day there, looking at tags, reading them to me as if she also had never seen them before. Then when I was trying on dresses the process was so clunky and the transitions took forever. I would often be left in the change room in my underwear while she was chatting to my family and telling them horror stories. I had one dress left to try on at the end and was asked, oh do you want to try a veil on first before we go to the next one, and I said oh yeah sure! Then when it came time to change I was then told oh sorry, you don’t have any time left, you can’t try that on and was basically told I need to leave. So all that time spent at the start fluffing about with talking meant I couldn’t try everything on.
Then in the main reception area when we were on our way out it was almost like she had to announce to the next customers that “oh I’m so glad you found your dress, we can’t wait for you to come back” almost like she had to make it look like I bought something. But that definitely wasn’t the case. The whole experience was like a huge sales pitch and not helpful at all. I am saddened by the experience but hope that other brides in future are looked after more than I was.

Such a beautiful venue with a very friendly team. They made me feel so comfortable and really listened to what I was after. Couldn’t recommend them enough!

Came in for my appointment and was shopping “off the rack”. From the time I booked my appointment I kept receiving phone calls and messaging to tell me I needed to pay for my appointment or it would be cancelled. I believe there was an issue with their online system between when I booked which meant I couldn’t pay securely online. I ended up needing to give payment information over the phone which I expressed I was not happy with.

When I arrived and was waiting for my appointment to begin, I sat at the front of the store and kept seeing the two girls at the front look over at me and then disappear behind the front counter ducking down to whisper to each other. Not sure if it was about me but either way that kind of behavior is open to interpretation by your customer.

The appointment was very average and selection of off the rack gowns in my size was disappointing. I think my sales associate tried very hard but she was quite young and seemed a bit out of depth for the situation.

I appreciate the effort but all in all I couldn’t see myself spending thousands of dollars at this store and have now purchased elsewhere.

WLC was the first bridal shop I visited and the third dress I tried on was the one! Poppy was my stylist and she was so warm, sweet and helpful. She helped my guests and I pick a variety of dresses to find what I liked best; I really appreciated how she explained so much about all the designers, wait times and styles. I tried on six dresses in total, and they were all helpful in helping me make my final decision. Not a moment of my appointment was time wasted!
We ran out of time to get measurements, but the girls at the desk were able to get me back in the shop later that day to get measurements and order my dress! Hollie and Scarlett were so so so helpful in explaining all the aspects of different sizes and helping me make a decision. I am so happy to have had such a positive experience and I can’t wait for my dress to arrive! Will definitely be recommending WLC to my friends.

Had an amazing experience at White Lily! The girls were very friendly, Holly in specific was so helpful and informative. They have a great range of dresses suiting all sizes and styles, plus the store was lovely.

White Lily was the first wedding dress shop I went to and I had the most amazing experience. I was put with Hollie and Ailish and after a quick chat, the girls just knew my vision from the start. I am 4.5 months postpartum and not feeling overly body confident but they put me in the most stunning dresses that all my insecurities melted away. They made me feel like such a BRIDE I got tears from my mum and sisters. We ran out of time in my first appointment to try on the dresses I wanted, but the girls made sure I was able to book a follow-up appointment in a timely manner. This is my second time going to White Lily - the first time was with one of my friends about a year ago and the experience was just as good! I will be recommending White Lilly to any of my friends getting married in the future.

I had Aleisha for my first dress appointment ever and she was wonderful. I had in mind some dresses and styles I wanted to try on and went with one aleisha picked herself which was perfect she understood me and what I wanted. My stylist was poppy, she was amazing! Poppy made me feel very comfortable.
Being a bigger girl this was super important to me and she understood what I was looking for, I said Yes to the the dress and it was one that my lovely stylist had picked out for me to try. Thank you again to poppy and the beautiful team at White Lily Couture

Wow wow wow! My experience at White Lily Couture was just amazing. My sister in law also had an amazing experience at WLC and recommended I go here, but unfortunately when I called to book they were completely booked and had 6 on the waitlist. I went on the waitlist and just hoped I’d get a spot! I got a call the day before I was planning on dress shopping, and they’d had a spot open up and so I was able to get an appointment! I’d visited two other bridal stores that day and WLC was my last appointment, and the comparison between the first two experiences and my experience at WLC was outstanding. As soon I walked in and before I even met with my bridal consultant, the vibe and atmosphere was just so nice and inviting and everyone was buzzing with happiness and good energy. My 4 friends and I got to experience the Luxe Lounge which was AMAZING and it was so nice to have a room to ourselves and made the experience feel even more special. My bridal consultant Rochelle (I’m sorry if I’ve mispelt it) was just the BEST. She was kind, great sense of humour, patient, professional and passionate about helping me find my dream dress. I couldn’t have asked for a better bridal consultant - Rochelle made me feel so comfortable and she just got my vision straight away. When I spoke to Rochelle about my price range, she was quick to come up with ideas to still help me find my dream dress within my budget. She was truly invested in my wedding dress journey! I ended up walking away with the most stunning dress, funnily enough the one Rochelle had picked out for me that was different to what I thought I’d like, but it was my size and price range so we gave it a go as I’d said I would keep an open mind. Rochelle must have known it was the one, because I put it on and straight away I knew it was my dress. I walked away from WLC with my dress, and the most giddy feeling in my chest and butterflies in my stomach because I had such a beautiful experience and Rochelle played such a huge, if not the main role in that. To think it went from me not having an appointment due to being fully booked, to landing an appointment due to a cancellation the day before, and it being the place I found my dream dress. Thank you to the bride who cancelled their appointment so my dream could come true! Thank you to the WLC team and Rochelle - it was one of the most special days of my life and a day I’ll never forget ️

Attended White Lily recently for a bridal gown try on. I paid the $30 booking fee and only attended WL as I had browsed their "sail rail" online and saw a variety of sizes and dresses. I was taken upstairs without my 2 friends whom I brought with me and was advised of the costs. I mentioned to the stylist that I had a certain budget and could I please browse the cheaper dresses. I was then taken to the outlet part of the store where my friends had to come and find me to offer help. The size range wasn't great and Ive never felt so discouraged in trying something on. When I did find a possible "the one" dress I was told I could try on another size but it was double the cost of smaller one that didn't fit. The other dress also showed how dirty and discoloured the dress was. I also felt the pressure of the appointment time and being told I could only try on maybe 4/5 dresses created unnecessary stress. I ended up attending another appointment at another company and wished I had just gone their first. The service was impeccable and the stylist was amazing and had her own suggestions plus the dresses and selection and prices were 10/10. As excited as I was to attend White Lily I wouldn't recommend.

I had the absolute pleasure of finding my dress with Catherine as my stylist. White Lily was the 3rd shop I’d tried and I was starting to feel like I was never going to get my “this is the one” moment but Catherine helped make me feel spectacular in my dress and really realised my vision (I had to hold back tears).
Thank you so much WLC. I can’t wait to go back and see the team when it’s time to collect my dress!

I am sorry I can’t give more stars but I feel I have to be honest about my experience.
I purchased a $3000+ lace Enzoani gown. The dress that I tried on was probably one size too small for me but it zipped up and was very snug and flattering to my figure, which was why I loved it.
When I was being measured, the ladies informed me that due to the size of my hips, they would have to purchase up a size (a 14 - My bust and waist fit into a 12). I explained I had lost 13kgs so far and plan to lose some more in the next 10 months but they said I’d have to sign a waiver of some sort if I purchased a different size and that it was too much of a risk. They explained their recommended alterations specialists would be able to make it perfect. I was unsure but trusted the lovely ladies.
When my dress arrived, it was huge. The cups were about 3 sizes too big which worried me the most. The rest of the dress didn’t fit quite like the one I tried on. The see thorough tulle between the cups was way too wide so the cups were in the wrong place. The ladies assured me the alterations company would be able to fix this, however, $750 later and despite their best efforts, they could not able to make the dress look and fit like the sample.
I am quite disappointed and wish I had asked more questions during the ordering process. However all of the staff members were so lovely and helpful that it was hard not to trust their knowledge and expertise. Perhaps there needs to be some better communication between the staff and customers, as well as the alterations companies and White Lily. I mistakenly believed the dress I received would be able to look just like the sample I tried, and that was simply not possible. I still recommend White Lily, but I want others to be aware of some things that may go wrong if you have unusual measurement as I do.

Just tried to book and it tried to charge me to an appt. Why would I pay to look at wedding dresses? None of the other places I've looked at charged me to book an appt.

I picked up my dress today and could not have been happier with how it turned out! I was nervous for months waiting for my dress to arrive and it fit like a glove! Would highly recommend having the dress custom sized like I did! Thank you so much to all the ladies at WLC. Cannot wait for my wedding day! Thank you

Went in very eager, but left very very disappointed.

To start off, they were running 15 minutes late because they were ‘letting other people finish trying on dresses’. But 20 minutes before my appointment was scheduled to finish, I was denied access to retry on my favourite dress and I was told I have to stop trying on dresses right now, to ‘go through some stuff at the end’. But once I got changed, they just told me to leave, despite my appointment time not being up AND there was no one booked after me. So with having so much time left, and having the time I lost at the start, I asked if I could go through the sale rack. AND I had emailed them 1 week before the appointment asking if I could look through the sale rack during a normal appointment and they said yes, absolutely. But despite this, they said no to looking at the sale rack, and tried to rush me out adding that I would have to pay another $30 to see the sale rack, or even just try on the dresses I liked again.

They also wouldn’t let my mum or bridal party upstairs to help look at and pick out dresses or anything which wasn’t very good at all.

But despite this, the dresses were pretty. But the service was very disappointing. They made everything feel rushed and no one could enjoy it.and it left my guests and I feeling very upset and ripped off of our time and money.
