Westfield Chermside reviews
75Everything you need doubled and tripled. Hate the crowds (hate adding to them), hate the almost always full carpark.
Great gyms, nice shops always air conditioned for your comfort. Parking is a breeze if you are smart about where you wanna go. Cinema parking and gym parkings are best here. Free 4+ hours of parking if you register on the Westfield app.
I have always enjoyed going there. Had a lovely lunch at Ivy & Lark. The Chicken and Avocado Tartina was delicious.
While sitting at the outside Cafe tables, I received a phone call and was so surprised that I hadn't realised just how loud the shopping centre really was. It's amazing how we are unaware of the noise levels in shopping centres until we need to hear a phone call:)
Had a very good massage at Pure Indulgence which is opposite Ivy & Lark.
Parking has changed to 2 hours, but if you use the Westfield parking ap, you are given 4 free hours.
One of the largest shopping centers in Brisbane. Has everything you need. Great dining selection for both casual eating and a more formal setting. Lots of parking, it helps to get the Westfield app to get up to 4hrs free parking.
Very good range of shops, except for a decent bakery. The price of parking keeps creeping up: they know people need at least four hours for a decent visit and want to make more money out of them.
Lack of pram parks and cubicles to breastfeed in baby change room. Level 1 baby change room near target is appalling. Far too small.
I still can't believe the size of this centre. It is quite easy to navigate your way round it once you have been there a few times
I attempted calling at least 10 times when I eventually got an answer. Spoke to Natalie. Sounded like I was talking to a 12 year old or someone really snobbish. I got hung up on and have been calling at lease 20 times now without an answer. I simply needed to give my details as request by someone from your team during a a call a few days earlier. I was charged $35 for parking 1.5 hours. And this was 4 months ago. How long does it take to process things for you guys. Seriously
Every store you can possibly think of is here. Very clean and always a joy to visit. It’s a very easy and convenient place to find parking and navigate around. Highly recommend.
Biggest mall in Queensland with major stores like Kmart, Target, BigW, Coles, Woolworths, JbHifi, David Jones, Myer etc.all under one roof. It is like one stop shopping destination.
Shopping during the 24hr open slot is not recommended. Too many people seem to have an idea that after 9pm is a good idea to go out to the shops - it was way too crowded. Specific advice - avoid KMart when it is this busy, since they changed their checkout style, placing it now in the middle of the store, it became even more congested which encouraged us to return our goods and walk down to Big W.
This place is so massive, it's easy to get lost in but they have everything you'll ever need. Except the map to get around!
I'm definitely a huge fan of the restaurants at the Chermside Westfield, there is a huge selection and almost all of them serve some wonderful meals.
Overall it's a massive centre with loads of various shops. The primary problem is the parking. Absolutely NO pay stations anywhere near the exits to the parking garage. They're instead down on the first floor near the concierge. Given the number of quality shopping centres I've visited, this particular situation makes chermside the absolute worst of southeast Queensland. Avoid at all costs unless you plan to be there for less than 3hrs.
Too big to get around. Often hard to park. Paid parking. Sometimes you have so far to walk back to your car as you end up shopping at the other end of shopping centre. Often long queues just to get into shopping centre at peak times
A beautiful shopping centre. I went to the cinema at nighttime & it was all so beautifully lit up & the atmosphere was really nice. Next time I'm going to make more time & dine there before the movie.
This shopping centre literally has everything! I love coming down this way since renovations for a whole day out shopping. Parking can be a little hard but you expect that in busier peak periods leading up to Christmas
Large Westfield and the layout is weird but has everything it needs. Great and helpful for people with disability’s and free parking for disability parking permits.
Large amount of every shop you can think of. Hugh Shopping Centre. Cinemas, grocery shopping, best fish place to buy fish or eat it for lunch.
Has everything under one roof easy to get a park awesome entertainment precinct love this shopping center Best in Brisbane
