6Update: I prefer to go and order my paint colours myself rather than leave it to "the other half" or the painting contractor. That takes the third party out of the transaction and means if there is a mixup, its up to me and the sales team to sort it. Nothing to sort yet as I have made the purchase and double check the detail. I do love the "have a nice day" when we leave. So thanks again for maintaining your great service, expert advice and taking the stress out of painting. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Thanks to David (AKA God) for helping me with my paint and primer purchase today. We were able to convince the "other half" who once took 13 years to NOT paint a house, that it was best to leave everything to the professional (David). Thanks I will be back for help with the exterior paint next.
I went here after 2 failed attempts by another hardware store to match a paint chip and the lady at Wattyl Paints Mackay got it spot on first time! Thanks!
I can understand that's mistake can happen and that there can be " misunderstanding" regarding colors. But for the sales assistant to find enjoyment in the fact that the painter ordered the wrong color according to them. To be degrading towards the painter. The sarcastically saying " have an wonderful day " just after you explained that your house is the wrong color. Really? !
Does leave a bit off a bad taste. Some sympathy and let's see if we can help you attitude would have been nice.
