Vinnies Slacks Creek reviews
9 This store has thrown me for 6. I've shopped in here over the past few yrs and on the whole I remember always thinking how expensive it seems to be. This time I feel like pricing was reasonable. A few things here and there scratching my head over, but I was happy with what I saw.
Quite alot of stock on sight with most bases covered.
Ladieswear has a small boutique rack to look through. They sort clothing into sizes which is great.
Not large sections because of store sizzle, but kitchenware, homewares, books etc also available.
Parking onsite, is very limited if you know the area, but you can park right down the back if you don't mind a little stroll to the store.
The hardworking volunteer ladies are very welcoming and helpful. Had a fun experience finding quality clothing at this store!
DVD prices too high and disc's are scratched they even sell broken cars in the bags of toys they sell
Super unprofessional and rude staff. Demanded my partner and I use hand sanitizer when we just used another store's sanitiser. After using it, the staff member gets in our personal space and says it is a condition of entry in a rude manner. We never asked. We never complained. It was not needed to be so aggressive. The staff in question was wearing a face shield and no face mask. Wearing a face shield with no mask is absolute stupidity. Will not shop there again.
Dierdre and Trish are the worst employees. I was forced to use the store hand santizer even though i had my own. Not happy at all!
Dierdre forcing customers to use store hand sanitiser. No tissues provided as i didnt want to touch the nozzle. We bought our own sanitzer in store and still were told we had to use the store one. Very unprofessional for Vinnies to do this to customers. Deirdre telling us that she is the manager and that it dosnt matter if i have my own sanitzer, i needed to use the store sanitizer. No common sense and she should be put back into training.
I went to donate 5 bags of clothes, but decided to donate elsewhere because of how rude the woman wearing the face shield was. She couldn’t even bother saying hello before barging over, pointing at the crate outside and ordering I put the clothes in there.
Standard type Vinnies shop worth supporting as they exist for a good cause. Mainly second hand clothes but a sprinkle of everything. Friendly staff. Cheap prices. For an avid reader like me great value to stock up on paperbacks from $1 to $4 each.
