Vinnies Mt Tamborine North reviews
6They have a lot of school uniforms. And the price is very reasonable. I recommend:)
Kids toys were great here, really well set out! People working were not too bothered by my kids browsing the toys, thank you!
While shopping at Tamborine mountain Vinnies 5th February, an elderly woman came into the shop. She was not wearing a mask. A person of large stature who worked at the shop, fronted up to her and demanded that she wear a mask. The woman shopper continued to walk into the shop. The shopkeeper then followed the shopper so close that it was obvious she was touching the shopper. All the time the assistant spoke in a loud voice saying, "leave the shop", and looking at others including me, trying to enlist my help at removing this old lady. To say I was discussed at the shop keepers actons is a mild form of words. She treated the old lady adbominally and even though she may have been correct at asking the person to wear a mask, what happened to the 1.5 meter distance that she was supposed to hold? She was rude, bullying, and stupid, and was at the end made to compose herself by the elderly shopper who asked her to calm herself and then left. I have been in this shop before and encountered this same 'helper' who was again rude and bullying to people without need. Today after seeing her perform once again as i have seen her do at other times, I have decided NOT to shop there again. TAMBORINE MOUNTAIN VINNIES is out for me.
This is the most expensive Vinnies I have visited. People donate their unwanted items to charity I believe that charitable prices should be charged. Some people like me have no idea when it comes to designer labels. Sorry but no matter what our postcode charity is charity.
While the store wasn't too badly priced, the volunteers need to consider how they speak on premises. Loudly shouting a conversation about catching ecoli from fecal matter on the clothing items at work isn't appropriate and sure put us customers off. Really revolting.
