I respectfully urge you to consider the alternative of purchasing a $10 t-shirt from Kmart instead of investing your hard-earned $500-$1000 on a shirt or t-shirt from this establishment. It is uncertain whether their quality would differ significantly from that of a Kmart t-shirt. Furthermore, the service at this place leaves much to be desired.

Allow me to share my personal experience. I acquired two t-shirts from this establishment, paying a total of $950. Regrettably, after the initial wash, one of the t-shirts expanded and lost its desired fit entirely. Additionally, the other t-shirt experienced significant color loss and faded noticeably.

In an effort to address this matter, I visited the Victor Mellick shop with a glimmer of hope. The salesperson acknowledged the color loss in one of the t-shirts, yet claimed to discern minimal variation in size in the other one (despite even a visually impaired individual being able to perceive the difference).

To my surprise, the salesperson informed me that in order to receive any form of assistance from Victor Mellick, I would need to pursue action under the "Fair Trading Act" or contact the "ACCC. " It was disheartening when it seemed that the salesperson even chuckled at my situation, perhaps due to my race or appearance.

I found it truly astonishing when the salesperson suggested resorting to legal action for the sake of obtaining any form of help. It appeared as though the salesperson believed that my non-Australian background would make me hesitant to approach renowned institutions such as the ACCC and Fair Trading to seek a resolution for the faulty garments.

I implore other individuals who invest significant amounts on clothing to consider purchasing from reputable franchises, as their commitment extends beyond mere profit. These establishments prioritize providing assistance to customers in need.

Now this is my clothing store. I have purchased my business clothes from Victor for many years.

Victor Melik is shameful. Went in there and was publicly shamed for my body by him and the staff. Laughed at and sent out. Would only recommend to my worst enemy.

The best quality clothing paired with good old fashion service. Alterations managed in house, with plenty of care givin to make sure the clothing fits you correctly. The whole team of fashion enthusiasts made me feel welcomed, weren't pushy and gave me great advise. Very happy overall and will return. Thanks team!

The best place in Cairns to get suits. Great range, really friendly staff (I had Victor himself fitting me for my new suit, great guy) and all the staff are very knowledgeable. They do any alterations required in house and are very skilled and prompt.

This is THE place in town to go if you seek very high quality men's clothing and suits. Very professional, knowledgeable and friendly staff always available. Horses for courses. Go somewhere else if you want cheap generic clothes.

Nice store, good clothes but be careful when paying with card.purchased two t shirts for $207 via eftpos, checked my bank later that day to find out a further $207 missing.went back to viktor mellick to enquire but was told only $207 had been taken off my card. I contacted my bank and was put through to fraud squad as at the time the bank believed that they were at fault.fast forward two months, the bank and myself had come to a settlement for compensation, I had to go into the store and get a letter signed by viktor himself to say that they only took $207 out of my account and that is where thing's got strange.spoke to a saleslady who started to look ashen faced and asked me to come back in fifteen minutes which I did.the sales lady then proceeded to tell me THEY were at fault and apologised.her reasoning was that she accidently hit the cash back button and did not realise until this point in time.when I asked her to show me the cash back button on the eftpos machine, she would not show me.viktor ended up refunding me after much shouting and disrespectful behaviour, however it took four days for me to receive my money back, not to mention repay the bank for the initial sum they returned

Not knowing much about and having rarely worn suits (weddings and funerals) I've always been a bit intimidated when buying this essential men's fashion item.
Victor made sure I chose a suit the looked good but most of all that felt good on. He was very happy to help me understand the different fabrics, styles and fit available. He also had a great range of suits in a range of prices.
I bought a second suit from there today (18 months after my first purchase) and the experience was even better.
Both times I've spent a bit more than I planned but both suits surpassed my expectations of fit, quality and style - exactly what I was looking for and I got them on sale at a great price - both were classic designs so it didn't matter that they were "end of season".

I think this suit thing could get addictive)
