Amazing staff and so many board games sold here. I found nearly all the ones I was looking for! Also they have a space for people to play games, it’s spacious and airconditioned too. Will definitely be coming here in the future! They also have a discord group so you can plan gaming groups beforehand.

Having taken part in a Star Wars Shatterpoint beginners session and then an intro to Magic The Gathering here, I can say with certainty that this is the best games shop in Brisbane, if not QLD. The staff are amazing (shout-out to Dylan and Rhiannon). I will definitely be back.

Amazing stock and customer service. Great place to go for a coffee as well- they do awesome drink specials! I recommend booking a table, getting coffee or alcohol and renting board games (complimentary with your drinks)

Walked in, Clerk at the counter asked if he could help with anything, said I was just looking for some skin colored acrylics.clerk said they didn't sell them and I should go to office works.said I would take a look anyway, as I already knew they what they had, found my paints in 2 minutes and left. Dunno what is up with that.but really didn't get a taste of that "great vibe" everyone is posting about.can't say I'll be back.

Cassie has been a pleasure to deal with! Gave us timely updates on a well anticipated board game (Stardew Valley) and I could not be more pleased! My order was packaged, shipped and arrived at my door all within 2 days (Qld - Tas). Such a turn around having waited on back order for ages while new games were being printed. Buy from Vault Games you will be looked after!

Vibe is amazing, great place to hangout and play games. Just buy a snack and then get seated! The prices are a bit high though but the staff are amazing and would honestly see myself buying a game there if I'm in pinch

Been going here since 2018, I love the store, staff and the products they sell, the community here is the best in all of Queensland and I would recommend that everyone comes to visit atleast once!

The emploees are super helpful they have a great set up, awesome space to hang out and play games, as well as buy them as well.there's also a space for painting minis and other things.great place! Definitely recommend

Helpful staff, the opportunity to try out some games in the library and 'n wide variety for sale at decent prices.

Nice place to play board games, MtG, DnD, tabletop games. The shop sells a variety of games and gaming accessories. It has also several membership, one of which is board games library that allows you to rent out one or couple board games instead of buying. And all these are in the CBD in 5 min walk from public transport or parking.

I have visited Vault Games repeatedly with other friends and have always found the staff to be friendly and cheerful.

I bought a copy of Terraforming Mars: Big Box from Vault games, which is a really nice unmarked box for terraforming Mars.
I mistook the box for the game and came in the next morning for a refund, but the box was opened so it didn't seem possible. The manager was gracious enough to provide a partial refund at the original price they paid for the product.
While I'm naturally dissapointed i didnt get a full refund, the staff was under no obligation to take the return at all, so I appreciate the integrity of the staff

Wow, amazing store! As well as selling a huge range, they have a bunch of tables and a great library of games to play. Will definitely come back some time soon to play some games.

Great selection of games and miniatures, friendly staff, always running some event or another. Nice big tables available to be booked for board games, card games or TTRPGS, or if you come in and there is a table free you can try out some games from their fairly expansive in-store game library, and maybe find something you like so much you pick up a copy before heading home. Awesome atmosphere, I'm a loyal customer, and I'm always excited to pop in and see what's new.

Was in there Thursday afternoon friendly staff and great range, hope to come back and spend more time seeing the variety of games.

My friends and I were banned without warning for joking around and having fun playing Dungeons and Dragons.

We had a chaotic neutral character.she was crazy, loved weapons, and in particular, loved the concept of war crimes, and loved committing war crimes.so there was harmless black humour involved. There were no kids within earshot, by the way.

A staff member came up to us and told us that we were making some of the nearby patrons uncomfortable, and that this was our final warning. We apologised and went back to playing.

As we were going to leave, the same staff member came and told us that he didn't want to make us feel bad, and that we were always welcome to come and play in their venue. We thanked him, and left.so, you can imagine our surprise when our dungeon master received an email from Vault Games saying that we were no longer welcome to come and play in their venue.

The final warning was also the first warning, but they went back on that warning, so the final warning was actually the zeroth warning, which means there was no warning.

If you warn someone, and they comply, and then you punish them anyway, then there was no warning.

EDIT: so, I talked with one of the guys, and it turns out we were warned multiple times, apparently while I was in the bathroom. And we were actually just told not to take the game to the venue, rather than banned.

And sorry about the dropped popcorn.

5 years on from my first review and they're still going strong! Even better, they're easier to find LOL. Staff are consistently helpful and can give tips, etc or help decipher some game instructions LOL.

Great gaming space. Passionate gamers (they even develop new games). They're very community focused -have signs to place on the table if you're looking for other players to join. I've seen a calendar of different events -I think they have something on every day.

Great variety of board and card games to buy and/or play there or at home (membership). Definitely looking forward to going again soon.

There's a cafe with drinks and snacks inside.

Solid range and good prices, it's not out of the way and is usually open for business. They could see to advertise their food options a little better, but otherwise perfectly well done

It's a wonderful store with a large selection of great games. Their customer service in store and online is fantastic. Cassie was a great help in assisting me in changing my in store pick up order to a home delivery. She responded quickly to my emails and got everything sorted out for me.
