Vartamana Yoga and Day Spa

A very relaxing time. Even though the appointment was a little late, I felt relaxed waiting by the Waters edge. Serene music and aromas, a very professional treatment by Amanda, who skilfully got my mind to relax right at the beginning. My only criticism is hearing some noise from reception area once or twice. Otherwise perfect!

From the time of booking with a few changes (my fault entirely) we were so well looked after, nothing was too much trouble. We booked a couples deep tissue & had a fantastic experience, leaving very relaxed.the spa is clean & smells amazing & the staff were all fantastic! Thank you so much, highly recommend!

Wonderful relaxing experience for myself and a group of girlfriends. 1hr massage and 30min facial was amazing. Great quality products used. The ladies were very polite.

The most relaxing experience getting a massage at Vartamana. I’m 32 weeks pregnant and the ladies knew exactly how to look after me. They were so accomodating and happily customised a massage and facial package for me. Such a beautiful and calming space too - I’ll definitely be back!

A beautiful environment with extremely friendly staff, then topped with an INCREDIBLE treatment to make a great experience from start to finish. Would highly recommend and will absolutely be back!

What an experience! I did the radiant ritual and the foot scrub with Belle which was absolutely fantastic. Hot oils, warm towel, relaxing and beautiful music. I think I fell asleep a couple of times, I really loved it and I highly recommend it.

The whole experience was so relaxing and enjoyable. From being greeted when I first walked in, the treatment was suited to my liking beyond any other business I have visited, to being able to chill out for a little longer after the treatment. Thank you Jess. Can’t wait to go back!

Beautiful location, a spa with ambience, quality treatment and to feel special and pampered. Vartamana ticked nearly all the boxes. Would recommend. Massage was amazing!

AMAZING place. I got gifted a 5 class pass while on holidays and can honestly say this made my holiday. The classes were so great (and enjoyable!) & the staff/instructors were incredible. The yoga was beautiful and the Pilates had a cardio and yoga vibe. LOVED the mix. Thank you so much Vartamana Spa for the space and positive body vibes!

My partner and I went to a Yoga session in the evening to get some extra relaxation and movement after our car trip.

The session was okay with a focus on stretching and relaxation. However, there are a few reasons I am taken stars off:
1) Both Yoga mats that we borrowed smelt like sweaty feet and were not clean.
2) We were asked to arrive earlier to the class to familiarise ourselves, register and pay. We arrived 20minutes earlier and were asked to wait outside even though it was raining. The girl at the counter just explained that she is heading home now.
3) The Yoga lesson was impersonal, no one came to ask what we'd like to get out of it, whether we have experience in Yoga etc. During the lesson the teacher just gave instructions and stretched with us, no feedback, encouragement or correction. We could have watched a YouTube video.

For $25 per session it is in my opinion not good enough.

I booked my wife in for a Sugar Glow Exfoliation and a Microdermabrasion whilst on Holiday and for her 50th birthday. I was sceptical booking it over the phone as we live some 14 hours away but the reviews (something I am also a little sceptical about) all suggested this was a great place. Boy, was it worth it. My wife walked out feeling amazing and her skin was glowing. What a terrific start to the holiday. Thanks for your friendliness, professionalism and putting in so much effort to ensuring a great experience, all whilst in such restful and peaceful surrounds. You've done well - Happy wife!

Had an amazing (and much needed) remedial massage with Beau. All of the aches from the long plane ride are relaxed and I feel I can better enjoy my time here now. Added on the hydrating hair & scalp treatment for a bit of indulgence - looking forward to treating myself at Vartamana every time I'm in Airlie!

I have learnt to enjoy Yoga under the beautiful guidance of Leah and her team. To start your day with a yoga practice overlooking the sparkling waters in the marina is exquisite. I have enjoyed a number of restful yet envigorating massages here. Indulge on your holiday OF COURSE you should

I have been to many Yoga classes around the world, and this studio has the best of everything. Warm friendly greeting, very professional and approachable, delightful classes, amazing poses with alternatives for the beginner, intermediate and advanced Yogi. My favourites during the class. Easy to follow free flowing, balanced sequences, the gentle scalp massage, and limb extension coupled with aromatic candles and light meditation. I felt incredible after this class, please go in and see the amazing team there Vartamana Yoga and Spa, Leah is a great teacher with a fantastic practise she is definitely one of the best instructors.

Popped in for an evening Vinyasa yoga class. Leah is an amazing teacher taking care to cater for all students. The studio is an amazing space with fantastic water views. Can't recommend enough.

Awesome - from the clean modern yoga studio to the professional friendly teachers to the outstanding view. From beginners to advanced, whether visitors or locals I can highly recommend this yoga studio. While I didn't have a spa treatment given the expertise and ambience I reckon they would be fantastic also. While I wasn't new to yoga I was certainly rusty and lacking confidence to try some of the more difficult asanas - Leah changed all that and I haven't felt this good for about 20 years, both mentally and physically. And I made some new friends!
