VanCootens Howard Drapery reviews
25A quaint country store in which you don't know what you might find. Very friendly service.
A Northern great fabric shop lots cramed into the store. The lady was very friendly and eager to help.
Absolutely filled to the brim with drapery and quilting fabrics. Don't forget to ask about the bakery where more fabrics are stored.
Whatever you want, they have it. Sooooo much stuff that you can hardly move but good quality stuff. Lovely lady running the shop.
Step back to the years of hand homemade dresses and doilies. Amazing finds in this unique shop.
I went shopping there for patchwork fabrics, found some nice pieces to add to my stash. On entering the shop was a 'wow' from me, a 'traditional old haberdashery' shop having seen one for a long time. Needed more time to browse.
If you can't find what you want at VanCootens you won't find it anywhere and very friendly staff
Great stores, large range, friendly staff, nothing is too much trouble. Best ever. Great and interesting store to shop at
Don't let a crafty person anywhere this place unsupervised. There's hours of rummaging and dreamy ideas amongst everything you can imagine that connects to a stitch in time.
Well Well what can I say, if you were looking for it that had it areal old fashioned shop, staff most helpful and friendly.
Fantastic place so much fabric, tools, clothing etc. Staff were extremely helpful can't wait to go back.
As always, worthwhile going to - come away with more than you went for and staff are always friendly
If you up that way worth the visit for quilting and haberdashery supplies. The pie shop around the corner is a tasty lunch.
Need to buy a souvenir, a tablecloth, pajamas, a set of placemats and supplies for that quilt your dying to make, VanCootens is the place.
The staff know where every single item is located, just ask.
As always great staff and loads of general habadashery but it's the quilting material I go for. Certainly the biggest range I've seen in the Wide Bay or Burnett region. Definitely worth a look and all to go to the old bakery it is full of quilting material as well.
A treasure trove of odds and sods in all sorts of clothing, manchester, haberdashery etc. Like shopping back in the 50s.
Lovely people. If they don't have it you don't need it.
Love my new Stony Creek.akubra for those who read this.
Such a mystery this shop, everytime you look there is something more to find. They have everything you need for sewing
To much stock and not enough shelves, tripping over stock on floor and sqeezing past clothing racks!
