Van Heusen Brisbane DFO

Had a great experience shopping at Van Heusen today. Sue was exceptionally helpful and patient, helping me work out shirt and pant sizes.

Came in last week on Friday midday with my partner, the retail assistants did not bother to say hi or greet us at all.
When my partner brought up some shirts to the counter, to ask if he could try some shirts, instead of kindly explaining that they have try on shirts, the lady grabbed the shirts and said “no! You can’t try these on. We have try on shirts! ” It was embarrassing and when my partner tried on a couple of shirts, we wanted to ask for help and all we got was attitude and rudeness, so we stopped and left. My partner and I had plans to purchase him a whole new wardrobe of shirts and suits as he had upcoming weddings, events and business meetings but incredibly disappointed with the service.

Shopped on Easter Sunday late arvo 5pmish, served with Chun with rudeness who yelled at me when I asked how much. Understandably, long day for retails but surely yelling at customers is completely out of line! Never comes back.

A big shout out to Dominic (apologies if I have mis-spelt the name), who provided great customer service today. I am passing through Brisbane and realised I had left half my suit back at home, and I needed one for a dinner (back here in Brisbane tomorrow evening). His calm, professional and easy-going manner in getting me sorted with a nice suit (and belt) was much appreciated.

The lady with glasses working Sunday 12 June was a total rockstar. Very helpful and enthusiastic. 5/5.

Very glad to have wondered into this store a few days passed. The attendant, Stinson, was quick to greet and assist me in finding the perfect fit for a pair of dark suede brogues. I am very happy with my purchase and experience overall.

One of the staff was exceptional (the oriental looking girl, didnt ask her name). So much patience explaining how to choose a shirt as Van Heusen are known for confusing the most seasoned too.

The other lady didnt have the time to give me / us the time of the day. May be I was on my Invisible mode.

Overall haven't opened the shirts and pants from the packet, will update as and when.

Having explained above expectations the girl looked after me 5 star, store 3.

I saw some awesome online deals but had no idea of my size so went to the store to get measured up. John & Elliott gave really helpful service and the prices exactly the same as their online specials. I’m usually skeptical of outlet stores only having pretty average discounts. Today I saved about 70%. And 5 stars to John & Elliott.

Good collection, friendly staff and value for money buy. You can get 3 good business shirts for 99 bucks or 4 for 119. The staff is very prompt and helpful in size and fits related questions.

VH is great menswear I have been buying for many years. I find my perfect fit everytime I shop here. Customer service at DFO has been decent over the years, but this week I was served by young man Oliver and he was amazing.his dignified demeanour was like oldschool/retro style men's fitting service and you dont get that level of service these days in other menswear stores.
