Instructor Steve is passionate, dedicated and engaging. My children trained with him for years before he left the cold of Canberra for sunny QLD. Steve has a genuine interest in each of his students journey and doesn’t rush them through the belt colours but unpacks how they can push themselves to be adventurous and brave. It’s not about the end result of black belt but the lessons (easy and hard) learnt along the way. He is adaptable to each student (my eldest has anxiety and my youngest ADHD) and in other classes their additional barriers were washed over but Steve worked with them to face and overcome. Steve also has a great sense of humour he uses to engage the students and amuse the parents - cannot recommend enough. We miss him!
