Very good meeting venue for medium to small meetings. Food choices greatly improved this year.

I attended an event here on Saturday night, 02/09/2023, and ended up having terrible food poisoning from it later that night. I had requested a vegetarian dish for my main which was a mushroom risotto in an eggplant. The meal tasted fine but I woke up at 3 in the morning with terrible nausea and ended up having three bouts of vomiting. I knew it was the risotto that did it as that was all I saw when I threw up. I'm still recovering from this days later and I am very unhappy with the food quality that I expected better from an establishment like this.

This establishment, for current servicing and ex-servicing members, is excellent. Think old world officers mess. Even the current messes in the ADF have gone by the wayside of modernising super kitchen feeding multiple “messes. ” The staff are welcoming and attentive. The food has always been wonderful. Just as the atmosphere and facilities. Highly recommend.

The service is bad, the coffe can not be had, could you guys get some better coffee, we pay $40 for breakfast every week and most of us have to come in with our own coffee even though we pay for it here.

The building was magnificent. Majority of staff were lovely. The food served that day was terrible. The turkey was so dry and tuff you couldn't eat it. Food was luke warm and very bland. The vegetarian meal looked like dog food. For the money I paid I was very disappointed.

Great facilities, with timeless decor and wonderful staff. The accommodation is beautiful and humble. The menu is always 10 out of 10 and the staff do a great job making sure your needs are met. Truly the best service in town.

I attend a business group here weekly. Always amazed at the old world charm of this place. A bygone era lost in steel, concrete and glass these days.

Love this venue, having spent 10 years in the military, this place has a distinct old world feel to it, and the artwork on the walls is amazing. Went there for a business breakfast and the food was nice, will have to go back for a lunch or dinner to try it out. Easy parking at the back, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

An absolutely beautiful venue in the heart of the CBD soaked in history, sophistication and class. The staff are attentive, well presented and efficient. The decor impeccable and beautifully maintained. The meals are tasty and presented with particular pride. There is convenient parking out front to get picked up and dropped of directly at the front door and signage is clear.

What a great place for a drink, a meal, or a function. Staff are friendly and helpful. The building is of historical significance well worth a visit.

I was invited there as a guest and received a very professional service. I liked a lot it was quiet there. Could be even better if they wash the curtains, as they look dirty.ladies, you can wear your beautiful dresses there. Nice place, with sense of history.

Some might think it dated and stuffy, I think these style establishments need to be preserved in this day of social media 'likes'

A tiny slice of Military history tucked in the middle of Brisbane. If you have the opportunity to dinner there I highly recommend it. If you have the opportunity to join then you already know this place.

Service is in the best traditions of olde world service ;staff very polite and well trained; price structure is mid range for fine cuisine. This Club is a hidden gem of Brisbane. Plenty of modestly priced parking onsite (for non-members).

This is my home from home. Staff remember me everytime I visit. Ambience is so relaxed, I thoroughly enjoy my experience. One of if not the best club in Australia that anyone can join.

Very nice location, good food, reasonable prices. Only downside is necessity to be, or know, a member in order to find there.
