Service was Terry-ific! I bought all of the parts to build a pc as I was feeling confident and ambitious. I brought my newly built pc in because I thought I needed a bios update. But no, everything was wrong! Terry helped me out alot and was very knowledgeable, he didn't make me feel dumb for not knowing what I was doing and assured me that everybody has to learn somehow.
I'd give 10 stars if I could, I'll definitely be coming back here for all my computer needs

Still one of the better stocked computer stores, prices are sometimes good, sometimes over the mark (do your research), but the whole in store experience has really gone down hill, very dingy and Spartan these days

Done with this company. They have removed all phone contact from stores and have moved accounting etc over to the a company in the Philippines where they are known to sell your personal information to 3rd parties.

Why support a company that doesn't support the country it's in. Keep Australian jobs in Australia.

Good value for people buying computer components, who want online prices and the ability to pick up same day.

There is currently pretty much nothing on display. They are not a traditional store where you can go in and pick up items from the shelf.

For a while, they had stuffed toys for sale in the waiting / checkout area, for kids to guilt trip their parents.

Super efficient - quick turnaround. Just be aware that if you want to buy anything onsite- they quite rudely dismiss you and tell you that "we are a pickup only site and do not hold anything onsite". I know this is a load of bull because they have all the stock on site and as the orders come in through the website they pick them from the shelves and put a sticker on them. A little flexibility would be good. Having said that they offer top products and great prices and their helpdesk is super responsive - therefore I will use them again without a doubt.

I've ordered multiple products from Umart without issue. When I did finally have a warranty claim, they were unable to process it due to apparent water damage at the store from a previous storm. Strangely enough, all of the Umart stores I've visited seem to have leaky roofs and buckets in the middle of the floor catching water. They might want to invest in improving the quality of their buildings. This was despite still having a laptop where they were able to handle sales.

I asked that they confirm with another store that they'd be able to handle my warranty before I wasted my time driving elsewhere. Apparently they don't have the phone number for other stores and no contact details are available online.

When I did go to another store, they just booked my warranty claim in using the computer. Why this couldn't be done at the first store, I don't know? !

Subsequent handling of my warranty claim was poor, with mis-communication or no communication whatsoever. I don't think I'll return as a customer again.

Would absolutely NOT recommend Umart. They have misrepresented themselves by stating they're #1 store. They're not! Since being paid upfront a substantial amount of money for a custom made computer 5 weeks ago, our order has not arrived, we've lost count of the amount of emails and phone calls we've made to them and they've stopped responding to our communications. All we receive is an automated response 'Delivery incomplete'. Our next step is legal action.

Umart's exceptionally poor service had nothing to do with Australia post. They're bad enough on their own, but we have over 50 phone calls and emails to Umart following up on these missing components and were fobbed off every time. Eventually Australia post wrote to say they had closed the case because the item had been returned to you, at Umart's denial. After threatening legal action we received the refund not long ago but were out of pocket because we desperately needed to purchase the missing components elsewhere.

I frequently shop online at Umart and pick up my items from this store. The pickup times are prompt and the service is very helpful and friendly. Never had an issue.

Umart advertised a product on line with a price and saying it was in stock. Your customer service people didn’t know what the product was and denied stocking it. When I sent a copy of the online page, I was told it was out of stock. When I asked if you could order it, I was told yes but have no indication of an eta. I asked if it could be specially ordered in for me. The answer was no.
Very poor service all round. Doubt I’ll ever return as any possible customer…

I always order my PC parts here. It's really fast and convenient, usually if the item is in stock I can place the order at lunch time and come by after work to pick it up. It won't always be the cheapest deal but the speed and savings on shipping make it well worth it.

Great prices and products delivered very quickly. Almost impossible to get them on the phone. But the products prices and delivery still get them 5 stars.

Can buy components cheaper on line but easier to get them to assemble when CBF doing it yourself.

No walk in purchases anymore. Went to pick up a power supply and was told 40mins isn't enough time for them to grab a psu and sell it to me.

Very helpful customer service. I accidentally ordered the wrong hard drive. Customer service (Lizzy) was very responsive and addressed the issue with a pleasant attitude.

Stood in line for an hour to be told you can’t order in person, and to buy online.

This is despite having 1 desk for online collection and 1 desk for sales.
