Umart Eight Mile Plains

Have only had good experiences using this store. This is the only place we use now for computers and spare parts.

Submitted an Aorus motherboard for warranty repair through Umart and waited nearly a month for news on the status of my repair. Contacted Umart to see where it was at and Sophia from the help desk was very efficient in following up with my enquiries. Summary: warranty repair was slow, but help desk assistance in following up was excellent.

Customer service is spot on, product knowledge is brilliant and price vs competition is top notch.

My only concern would be the parking lot quality at this store. Otherwise the staff are great.

I have been buying IT equipment or accessories from Umart for years. Great product, competitive pricing, friendly support and wonderful team. Thumbs UP!

The two gentlemen that served me this morning 16.02.23 were amongst the friendliest, most helpful, knowledgeable people I've ever had the privilege of being served by. Clearly subject matter experts in their industry. Thank you for the experience and assistance!

Poorly signed car park entrance creeps up on you real fast first time you visit. Staff are about as helpful as they ever are at a umart, definitely had worse experiences with them in the past though.

The store does not seem to have a computerised up kiosk where you punch your order number in when you arrive, like the other stores, thus forcing a staff member to give you their best impression of customer service. Bloke didn't do too badly.

The girl at the other counter was trapped in a lengthy conversation about component compatibility that had been dragged on past its natural end by the customer.

This place does seem to attract more recreational neckbeards than the other umart outlets, however be prepared for a unshaven sweaty man with a weak chin to give you his opinion on whatever grade of ram you have selected, without you asking for said opinion.

What little retail space they do have is haphazardly littered with unrelated component boxes and some cooling accessories in one corner.

Will reluctantly be back, as I have been for the last 20 years or so, as umarts prices are really the best in town, as long as you can deal with the rest of the operation.

Andrew at Umart Eight Mile Plains was sensational, helping us sort out our new PC build. Great people, great products, great knowledge, sensational service. Highly recommend this team who are always happy to help.

Love this shop. Always great value, stock is ready quickly, and they are always friendly and helpful. Walking into the shop kind of feels like you are walking inside a giant computer, and it puts you in the mood to build some awesome new kit!

You have better return policies with aliexpress than umart. Be absolutely sure (seeing reviews) that what you are buying is the best, otherwise you are out of luck. I bought TPLink EAP 670 (good on paper), however flaky performance (especially with latency/ping time). Since nothings obviously wrong with it, I am out of luck. Hardly any reviews on that product yet.

Two tiny again guys lifted my pc gaming chair to my car.the box was bigger than them combined.sure I could have lifted it myself like I did at home (I feel a bit guilty now) but I do appreciate the genuine effort.excellent work.there wasn't even one complaint outta them.

Can not complain at all. Orders are filled quick. No problems with pick up or delivery. Had a few problems with them years ago, but seems like they are really trying alot more now, which is great for them and us as customers.keep it up.

I attended 8 Mile Plains with a warranty issue (DOA) and Calvin was such a nice and helpful staff member. It was really great old-school service. He even let me test the replacement part in my PC using his work bench. Great guys here! I highly recommend this place.

Built a Pc over the weekend and had some issues with start up, I've built 3-4 computers in the past and not had issues but i was stumped on this one.

After running out of ideas i thought i would step into Umart to see if they could help, Without any hesitation Andrew & Torin from the Eight Mile Plains jumped in and ran a few test and quickly helped out with my issue when they could of very easily turned me away.

Top level of service from these two and would absolutely recommend this store!

Had problems with my PC when I originally bought the parts separate from Umart to put it together myself. There was an issue (not on their end) when putting it together so paid them to fix the issue and they did. When the PC got back to the 8 Mile Plains store, Andrew went above and beyond to help me put my GPU and cooler back in place and let me test it out to ensure I was happy and the pc was working correctly. These guys are absolutely legends and always make sure their customers are happy! I would highly recommend them.

A great store and reasonably good advice from the team at Umart.
Not really a showroom here - mostly for preorders.

Helpful advice, friendly salespeople, tips on how to save money with your setup. This was a godsend after my experience with computer alliance. I’ll use umart online from now on, and if I need info/advice come into this particular store as you can talk to the salespeople rather than it just being a pickup depot like the other locations. I love the fact that there are several pickup locations too because I can get the stuff sent to a location near my house. Best computer/parts store by a mile.

Recently bought a faulty wireless board and they were very quick to replace it to me. Been a frequent customer and had good experiences.

Good spot for computer parts, I come here a lot. The store itself is a little run down, but that means they keep their prices down too. You really need to order online first, then go and get it when they email you to say it's ready.they don't deal so well with people who just walk-in.
