Mick by far provided the best customer experience of any tool shop - from my initial call I knew he was the right guy to deal with.
Super helpful and knowledgeable, I purchased $3500 worth of Makita gear and only planned on getting a mower, it really makes a difference when you are confident in your sales assistant, he made sure I got the best deal and packaged up the right equipment for my needs.
He even juggled me and other customers on a hot day - in a non air conditioned shop while the other (team) members stayed on lunch break in the AC

Just buy tools from them but the customer service was really but also the parts brand with in 2 months not happy at all with them

Micheal and his team went above and beyond with there customer service and tool knowledge. Easily able to identify a tool part/brand and always willing to bend over backwards to help. The ONLY place I will go for anything tool related.

Five years ago, I needed a really big A-frame ladder. They sold me a great one. A couple of years later, they sold me a great wheelbarrow. About, two years ago, I got a great price on a weed eater and a Renegade chainsaw. I recently had problems with my chainsaw. Even though was out of warranty, they got it repaired at no expense to me. Great service every time. Good advice every time. It’s so good, that some businesses still have high standards of customer service.

I stuffed up and purchased the wrong size impact socket but Tyson swapped it simply & easily without making me feel like an idiot. A true asset to the company

Great range of tools and great advise, if you need more than the basic stuff, this is the place.

Beware. Stick with Bunnings. They have much better customer service and warranty support. I bought a top of the range electric hedger that stopped working within the warranty period. I also bought a mower, pole hedger and brush cutter ($4k in gear)

I took the hedger in and left it with them. I got a text later that day saying that it had been fixed and was ready to collect. Upon collection the manager asked me to pay the bill. I said what bill? I’ve only ever used this machine within its limitations and I wouldn’t have purchased it originally with hindsight that it would stop working so early in its life. The manager said that the manufacturer wouldn’t cover it under warranty. He didn’t even try, no consultation whatsoever. Just a, “You need to pay for our time. ”

Again, steer clear and trust that Bunnings would have resolved this properly if given the opportunity. Never going back.

Extra special. Has everything that I need. Will be going back there after Christmas to buy a Bandsaw. Been back a couple of times, all good. Got some stuff that I want, going back soon

I run a small construction business for the last 15 years. My favourite tool shop is trade tools. I have been supporting trade tools tweed heads and nerang for many years. 4 years ago, I bought Husqvarna ts60 from trade tools nerang. I have been very happy with the ts60 performance but recently the wet saw broke down.
On Thursday I bought 2/12 from trade tools arundel costing $843 because ts60 no longer available. On same day I used ts66r and find out is like "TOY", performance is very weak.
I then decided to take ts60 to trade tools arundel for repair because I see sign at front "WE REPAIR ". One team member approached me. He eyed me and ts60 up and down.
There was no friendly greeting or "Can I help you". In my limited English I told him ts60 works ON and OFF. The team member rudely told me electrician is in on Monday and will provide quote and more information. This team member is extremely rude, his body language makes me feel unwelcome because of my limited English.when I turned to leave the shop, I turned around and pointed my ts60 he yelled loudly
"DON'T TOUCH"
This makes me very angry.it was my birthday on Friday 3/12 and he has spoiled my day.
I don't recommend this branch to anymore.
I spend my money with welcome NOT YELLING

The ppl that work here have a realy good attitude and always are helpful. This is my go to tool shop and should be yours too.if you want in tools they have it.

Terrible service, you get ignored while the young crew chat behind the counter.the whole front of store is just a cluttering mess and confusing, after waiting to 5 mins in the wrong area I was told to go around too front of counter if you want to be served.
After that they were rude and un professional.
Will take my business to total tools from now on.

Most lovely experience today. Staff were so unbelievably friendly and helped me out straight away. They really went above and beyond and I would recommend Trade Tools to anyone who is after exceptional customer service.

Ok didnt really know anything about the tool I was after but they pointed me in the right direction.

Best place to go if you want to be ignored and get absolutely no help. Sadly Bunnings has better service.

Great service, lovely people with lots of knowledge. Prices are so reasonable and they stock good brands, staff are courteous and eager to help in contrast to Bunnings where the staff run away at the opposite direction when they see customers approaching.
