Contacted Covid while away travelling. Was able to ha a phone consult with my Dr & got an Escript for Anti Virals & advice, which was a big help….

I attended for a COVID booster. Waiting time was minimal and the booster was given quickly and efficiently. Very professional service.

What an absolute joke making an appointment is. Might as well just tell you to turn up and get seen if someone has time

Attended for a pre employment assessment. They failed to save my lung capacity test which had to be redone (straight away luckily).
I then found out three days later that they also failed to save my drug and alcohol test.
This has set me back one week in my pre employment process.

Came to my appointment, registered with reception - nothing moved for thirty minutes, when enquiring I was then told that the doc wasn’t in. Ridicolous service - after waiting three weeks for the next available appointment, confirming my appointment the day before the reception staff apparently didn’t know that the doc wasn’t in when I arrived. I always had the feeling dealing with desintersted staff at reception and choose to look over some smaller hiccups (not getting my rebate because they processed it wrong!) in the past that were always excused with “new staff” since the actual doc seemed alright - not anymore. There is always something wrong in my experience, often quite “bitchy”responses when enquiring - sorry Dr Keys, I’ll have too look for another GP!

Doctors are friendly Desk staff are usually very friendly and helpful. But upset my husband and I cannot see our regular doctor when needed. Only see him every 3 months for our epc, s.

Got the best help there and everyone was friendly and kind. Would recommend them 100% every time.

I had 8 different vaccinations here 3 years ago and I thought I remembered them saying I will need to return for a booster for 1 or 2 of them in 3 years time. When I phoned up to see what boosters I required to stay up to date they refused to tell me without booking in a consult with a doctor and they couldn't even tell me if I needed any boosters at all, meaning I could come for a consult when I might not even need any vaccinations. Anyone working in a travel clinic should have an idea of when different vaccinations are due or should at least be able to find out. I was not asking for any specific medical advice. I had a positive experience here 3 years ago but unfortunately a lot must have changed since then.

I'm not a person to post reviews but I just have to with this. I booked with this private practise 3 weeks ago and took the afternoon off work for my appointment, The day of my appointment in the morning I got a message to confirm then at 4: 50pm that night, the night before my appointment they rang me to say they have to cancel, I asked if there was any other doctors and then they said they were all sick (not my doctor though) then they asked if they could do another time and I couldn't because I literally got off that time for work to go to this appointment as I work full time. They rang at such late notice that I couldn't even book to go anywhere else because everywhere is booked out, and on top of that I have to tell my workplace to cancel my leave that afternoon (at 4: 50pm that night!) This appointment was really important hence why I booked 3 weeks prior, I understand things happen but to let me know on such late notice, they wasted my time!

Dr. Kathleen Rose did such a great job! She explains everything understandable, is very gentle in her handling and tries to help out in any way!

My wife and i have been with this practice for many years and have always found with one exception, (he was not there long) all doctors we have been involved with to be professional, efficient and caring.
We are under Dr Kevin Arlett's care and have always found him to be easy to talk to, empathetic but a straight shooter, he will always tell you what he thinks, we have no hesitation in recommending this practice and have done so on many occasions.

Easily the best doctors surgery in townsville handsdown reception ladies are great every time and will always fit you in regardless.
