Ali and the guys at Townsville Mini Cost Repair did a chemical rust treatment, then cleaned the rust, a acid wash, and raptor liner of the chassis and brackets of my Jimny. From the start, I went in to have a chat and explain what I was wanting, Ali and the guys showed me examples of what they could do going off my explanation, then he broke down what work was involved and the cost of the work. From the bit of research I had done and questions I had asked other people, his price was extremely fair.

Considering how busy they are, they started on the Jimny around 7-10 days after the initial consultation, which I was surprised about, they look like they are stacked with work, and I appreciated that alot, considering it's my daily.

Yesterday I picked up the Jimny, they showed me the work they had done, and it has out done my expectations, it looks absolutely awesome, you can tell the guys in the shop have alot of pride in their work, he was explaining why he didn't paint certain parts, why he painted other parts, which was great, it gave me an understanding, instead of leaving me with questions.

When I picked up the Jimny, Ali wasn't in the shop, but later that afternoon I get a call from him, making sure I was happy with the work they did.

From my experience with Ali and the team at Townsville Mini Cost Body Repair, I 100% recommend and will be back if I need any bodywork or anything they can do, from start to finish they kept the connection and out done themselves.

I haven't been to a business like that in a long time, just a good, classic, hardworking team that put out awesome work and put the customers needs before their own.

Picked my car up this week after a small mishap that required fixing.paint matches perfectly can't see where the repair was done. Excellent workmanship and very reasonable, capable business. Hope I never have another bingle but know I will be in good hands if I do. Highly recommend

Hired this company to repair and paint a very minor damage to my vehicle.
Due to the very poor quality of the craftsmanship, I had to hand in the vehicle 3 times, which cost me a lot of time and effort. The vehicle was in the workshop for a total of 12 days, but the end result can by no means be described as good.

Conclusion:
Absolutely not recommended in terms of Quality and Reliability.

I frustratingly discovered that a bicycle had left a scratch on my highly maintained BMW whilst parked in a shared garage over an extended period of time.

Made a call to Tristan and was booked in for a viewing and quote the next business day.

On arrival I was greeted by the very friendly and hospitable front of house worker who took photos and my details. Providing my partner and I with a cold bottle of water.

Ali, on hearing of my arrival personally inspected the vehicle and returned with a polish gun and wax. He was immediately able to polish the light scratch out and refused any form of payment.

Was drawn to this business due to its standing reviews which were immediately confirmed by my interaction and work carried out by the staff. Will be returning should any future paint or body work be required.

The guys fixed up my cruiser that had bad rust over the windscreen and did a mighty job, they replaced the windscreen and painted it all up for a really good price

My P plater son hit a kangaroo the night of Mother’s Day & it busted his radiator. The next morning I called various smash repairers to see if his car could be towed there to be repaired, but they were either too busy or not that interested.

When I called Townsville Mini Cost Repair, Tristan said he would come straight out to look at the car, to see if it was even worth being towed first. We met an hour later & he assessed the car & I got a quote soon after.

Tristan arranged to have the car towed back to his workshop & it was repaired the following week!

Tristan made a stressful situation easy & hassle free & was great to deal with the whole time.

The service and workmanship is FLAWLESS.

They repaired some dents on the passenger side of my car after my bicycle fell off the garage wall…it damaged both doors and the rear panel… I wasn’t happy with myself grrrr…
The repair and paint job is perfect, like the other reviews, I will recommend anyone who needs panel work and painting done to their car to go and speak to Tristan…you will not be disappointed…
Also, If you have some money to spare, I hear that he can 2 pack kitchen cupboards etc…a top job as well.

Took car in for quote on small dent & it was fixed in 5 minutes for no charge. What a wonderful experience. Will be recommending to friends & family as that level of generosity is very rare these days.

Had a insurance claim done through this business. I choose this business on my own research. The accident was not my fault and was being paid out by the other driver's insurance.

My car was done perfectly and it only took 4 days which was such a fast turnaround compared to other insurance recommend panel beaters. The owner really cared about my service and did not rip me off a single bit. Any part that got damaged was replaced or repaired where reasonable. Other panel beaters recommend by the insurance companies did not even think of replacing parts that were damaged and just buffed it up to look nice. Where I genuinely felt so much better when this business said they would replace the parts without me having to even ask. It was done correctly by using genuine Toyota parts.

There were a few bumps in my paint but when I asked if I could come back to get them fixed they welcomed me and got the job fixed that day, no waiting required. They are a local business and they really showed they cared in getting my car back to the way it was without doing any shortcuts to please the insurance company. The fact the repair only took 4 days was incredible, highly faster than any panel I have gone too.

I highly recommend this business and they will be my future company for any repairs needed on my car both through insurance and personal.
