Placed an online order, that was all meant to be in stock. Waited 20 days with no communication from store at all, contacted them today to be told it had to be ordered in and would be weeks away still.

Staff have no knowledge of what they are selling and returning defective tools is like pulling teeth.

Place order and pay for it: "it'll be here in 3 weeks".
4 weeks later: "It'll be here next week"
3 weeks later: "It'll be here next week"
2 weeks later: "It'll be here in 3 to 4 weeks "
Cancelled order and ordered same thing on eBay, received it 6 days later.

Had total tools warranty a battery for me, battery was damaged when I went back to collect it, the staff there couldn’t care less and told me continuously to call customer service about it instead of actually giving a solution or listening to anything I said

The staff are friendly down to earth people who know their tools.

They have a big range of all the popular brands and they always seem to have what I’m looking for.

I would recommend signing up for their store deals text messages. These seem to differ from the catalog deals you see on the website and this store seems to have great deals at certain times of the year.

Such a huge range of stock at fantastic prices, the store is always clean and tidy and the staff are so helpful, they really helped me with so many questions I had, thank you again to all the staff.

Good service, tho they didn't have what we wanted in stock. They were friendly & helpful insofaras they could be.

I bought a CIG MIg welder back on the 14th Aug 20. After a week it stopped working so I returned the unit under warranty for repair. They took my details with the assurance they would contact me when I could pick up the unit. No contact was made so in September I contacted them again to be told the unit was to be replaced but due to covid deliveries were backlogged. They were apologetic that no one had contacted me, but once again assured me they would contact me when it arrived for pick up. Another phone call in October was met with “the lady who looks after warranty claims was not in” but they would definitely let me know the status. It’s now end of December and just contacted them once again. At no time have they contacted me either by phone or email and surprise surprise neither the manager or the warranty lady are available. So after four months no contact, no replacement unit and no refund. I would strongly recommend avoiding total tools townsville as they have absolutely no after sales service.

The staff go above and beyond at this store! Quality products, efficient, friendly service with a smile!

Ordered in a Makita dual impact gun kit. 2 weeks later the wrong kit arrived. Instead of swapping out the incorrect impact gun in the kit. I was told to return the whole kit and wait for the correct one to turn up again.
I decided to get my money back and another tool shop at the Bohle made up the kit on the spot along with a few bonus items for the same price.

The service was amazing. I went into the store looking for a Father's Day present. I had something in mind and l was served by a lovely young man Aaron. Aaron showed me what I was looking for and then suggested something more suitable after l explained what the main use the tool was for. Aaron was spot on and l walked out a very happy customer.

Very good place to shop staff helps you when you walk in at of other businesses in Townsville could take notice of the staff here well done keep up the good work

Not having much luck online ordering with these guys.welder I ordered clearly marked as in stock after about a week and 1 unreplied email I decided to call them to which I found out that there was no stock and required a refund. I mean I would have appreciated some sort of contact to advise me of this. Currently awaiting another Click and collect item and seem to be having the same trouble no reply to my message as when this item may be available for pickup

Most staff are clueless with knowledge about products with the exception of the older gentleman and the warehousing staff. I overheard a customer with a tool which the larger batteries wouldnt fit and i told him how to solve it. Then i saw the staff pretending like he didnt know what the problem was and said not to follow my advice.

Also They had one demo product available with no original packaging and they told me they cant give a discount for it.

Only good thing they have is their festool products. Stop employing deadbeats and employ knowledgable staff.

Didn't have extended 10mil ring spanner. They said i need to go to a specialized tool shop. Is this not "Total Tools". It wasn't a big ask, Really!

Walked into the shop today and the 1st item I saw was $20.00 dearer than what I bought mine for in Dec 2015. Walked straight back out again.

Bought a Dewalt cold cut saw. It was in price comparable to the internet and I know if it plays up I can take it straight in without any worries. Happy with the help and price. I would never own a friction saw again the cold cut is faster, doesn't burn the steel and cuts square love it!
