Toowoomba Medical Centre

I was brushed off when going in to confirm my pregnancy to later have the doctor call me and say I'm not pregnant. So the 8 positive tests were wrong? She left me in tears all day with me thinking I've lost my baby but she is 100% wrong.

Do NOT recommend this practice at all!
My husband was extremely unwell. Severe pain, nausea. Blood pressure was taken, and the Practice Nurse informed Dr Wong that it was “worryingly low” (she was professional and nice). Dr Wong didn’t even touch my husband… didn’t feel his abdomen. He asked that the nurse give him a Maxalon injection, and “he’ll come good”.
Very next morning? We’re in Toowoomba Base Hospital ED. My husband was in a 5 hour surgery for Diverticulitis. The lead surgeon stated that with the 1st incision, the lower bowel “exploded”! He could have DIED! Now he’s dealing with a colostomy bag etc, and a huge wound, 30 staples in total.
2.5 weeks in hospital. Home for 3 days and his wound became infected looking. Yes, we should have gone back to the Base immediately, but we chose to go back to our GP. The nurse cleaned and dressed the wound. Dr He attended this time. Again, just a brief glance. Next morning? Back at TBH. Wound cleaned, packed and dressed.
My husband has been re admitted.
We will not go back to Toowoomba Medical Centre!

Very professional, and happy to give advise or conduct tele-health appointments if we cannot get into the centre itself.

I had my 1st visit to the surgery today. Very impressed with the staff and doctor I saw. Very professional and I felt like a person not just another number. I was also impressed with this centre when I rang them to make appointment. They answered the phone with a politely and never once made me feel like a nuisance.

Very happy with Dr Jeffery chai, he really makes sure you understand everything with your health, very well explains. Also great staff!

Always kind and freindly can't do enough for you the doctors talk to you on your level so you can understand what is happening

I tried to book appointment today
And she asked me why you didnt book from 2016
After some question she told me sorry we dont have today or tomorrow try another midical center

Since Dr Nicolas has left the replacements are inconsiderate and arrogant. Ive never spoken to a doctor who had such a rude or negative attitude. What a miserable soul. I leave 2 stars because the reception staff are wonderful and professional.
