Toowong Village Meats

Usually this place is fantastic with good service, however, on Wednesday when I purchased some chicken thighs - the 2 servers were blatantly ignoring me. Eventually got one of them to serve me, all seemed good.

When I went to cook the chicken today, it was off. This is unacceptable as it is dangerous and people could get extremely sick from it.

Really awesome and friendly staff with a great selection, epically considering the small shop front. I've never had an issue the quality of produce; it's been consistently great.

I buy my weekly meat at Toowong Village Meats, the quality, value, and customer service is fantastic. Keep up the good work!

Twice my partner has purchased meat from this place and the meat is low low quality. He purchased prime rib roast and it it had a lot of string/nerve in it. This was supposed to be the best meat. The meat was extremely hard to chew. The veal we purchased was not veal at all. I wouldn’t waste my time in going here again.

Spectacular quality meat, especially their gourmet sausages. Always knowledgable and will often have cuts (or be prepared to get you something fresh) where Coles does not (I don't even think Coles has a butchery, they're just shelf packers and the meat comes from elsewhere). Support the small guys like these butchers.

Went to this butcher for the first time, the service was exceptional, friendly staff and very helpful!

Shane, Taine and Jarred are LEGENDS! They jump-started my van when I had a flat battery behind Toowong village. Everyone should shop here cause these guys work here and they're awesome!

Haven't tried other products but the sausages alone deserve 5 starts. They offer rich flavours.

Above and beyond customer service. I came in asking for a set of small meat trays for an event very late notice and on a very tight budget. The butchers were so accommodating and helpful and the trays looked beautiful - I was expecting a sausage and a rissole for the budget I had and was blown away with how much they gave me! The times I have bought meat for myself there it has always been great quality. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic traditional butcher in Toowong village. The guys here always go above and beyond and deliver a high quality product. No request is too large and you’ll have a far better outcome buying your meat here over a supermarket.

Every time I have shopped at Toowong Village Meats it has been an absolute pleasure and the butchers have been incredibly polite and helpful. I am very impressed with the quality of meat, which is good value for money compared to other butchers in the area. Keep up the good work!

This is my favorite butcher in brisbane. Excellent meats and I love their sausages.
Can't go wrong with this place in my opinion.

Always served with a smile! Been a local for almost 6 years and these guys never fail to provide the very best. Lovely service and great prices, almost always cheaper than Coles around the corner. Top quality steaks and the homemade sausages are delicious. Pop in and have a look for yourself next time you're in Toowong - well worth the drive.

Never had a bad experience or a bad cut of meat from this excellent butcher.

The meat is fine but the butchers have a habit of handeling the meat with bare hands then handeling money and eftpos machine creating cross contamination. When i questioned them about this practice they looked at me like i was crazy then said they had been given the ok by the health deparment to do this because the food will be cooked. Sorry but not good enough food hygine for me. Maybe i am crazy but won't be going back.

Wow Jade Mack is a bit of idiot if they're really not going to cook their food properly. It's common and perfectly acceptable to handle meat without wearing gloves. It's big chain supermarkets that have got everyone scared about wearing gloves. Better not shop at a supermarket to buy your meat either Jade Mack because if you had half a clue you'd know the people cutting all those overly plastic wrapped pieces of meat weren't wearing gloves either.
Ooh scary stuff, make sure to wrap your kids in cotton wool too.

The butchers and counter staff here are always nothing but cheerful and informative. I would shop here any time.
