Love it here, the pools have ramps for disability access which is awesome. The kids love the trampolines and wave pool thingy. Plus the littlies love the splash pool. Wish they had bbqs and more tress for shade but its still amazing fun. Clean facilities and friendly helpful staff.

Great swimming pool but poor management.

We discussed several times and they said "Yes Yes Yes" but never happened what we wanted.

Especially the payment MUST be stop 2 weeks ago but still they are charging from my account.

We were talking about this 3 times but it happened dispite of final communition with manager.

I can not believe they work like this.

We were here with Cairns West Rotary to support the Cairns Regional Council's Australia Day Pool Party.

Everyone was absolutely lovely from the Centre staff to the public and the staff from Council who were coordinating the event.

A great place to swim. I like to visit when I'm in Cairns. The sails/roof represents the cliffs of Dover - sort of.

Tobruk is very great, because the pool has swimming lanes and a place for little kids to play in the water. Also the changing room is great, because it has lots of space and the shower is warm as well. I think Tubruk is a nice place to swim.

Great local pool in Cairns. Facilities are clean and well maintained, although you have to bring your own padlock if you are a casual locker user. Rates are relatively cheap ($5.60 for adult casual entry). Fitness passport accepted (although not for interstate memberships unfortunately!) 50m outdoor pool is 2m deep throughout which I quite enjoyed. There are also a 25m more heated pool and outdoor wave machine but I did not try them. Aquarobics classes available.

Brilliant, lge coffees last forever. LAPIES a bit arrogant & forceful over others in Hydro pool. It doesn't evolve around only them.

Modern, clean with a shaded 50m pool which makes it good for swimming in the summer. The 50m and one of the 25m pools is heated. The open air 25m pool is not heated. The kids enjoy the inflatabes, trampolines and wave rider that are an additional cost to the entry.

My absolute favourite swimming centre anywhere in Australia. Definitely a must when visiting Cairns.

Great fun. Decent food prices, variety and speed of service. Covered heated pool was great, lap pool was divided for different levels of speed as well as having recreational areas including inflatable course. Trampoline area, shop, and change/bath rooms were clean and well maintained. Will be bringing the family back regularly.

Love this place. Free access on Australia day. The rest of the time it's very reasonably priced. Staff are friendly. Great place to go swimming.

Fantastic pool in a great location; lap pools of 25-50 meters and a heated pool.

Wave rider, inflatables and trampolines. Excellent.

Swim coaches are very professional.

Excellent venue but, Waverider isn’t managed properly. My mate and I went along and we’d never done it before, and we get placed in a lane with 4 others who are obvious regulars. So we get up and stack pretty much straight away, but the regulars do not stack and end up dominating the 30 minute session. In all, I reckon I got about 2 minutes in. The lady managing the lanes for Waverider should be onto this and after chatting with staff about it, I got a very nonchalant response.

A wonderful swim this Sunday a.m. And surprisingly quiet, especially considering the high temps!

The best water quality in FNQ and I have been a Tobruk member before, during and after the most current refurbishment.
