TK Maxx

First time shopping here nothing bad until we got to checkouts. Massive line and only 1 operator. Another has thankfully opened up a short time later but there were 3-4 other staff members standing around near by doing nothing while there were still a massive line and not getting any better. To make things even worse after I have left I have noticed one of those staff members was on her phone whilst working. You definitely need more registers opened during busy times and to train your staff on customer service. Anything bad next time, and we won't be back and it goes down to 1 star.

I LOVED this store before the refurb and drove 30 minutes to go to it. Such a shame it has changed it was perfect before! What used to be an enjoyable and relaxing shopping experience now feels confined. I could spend hours wandering the isles with the old layout, this layout does not work.

I was a frequent customer, weekly sometimes more! Was excited about the new refurb, but it's re opened and it's horrible. There is no flow to the shop, half the amount of stock, and it's just yuck. Suppose I'll have to venture to the Airport or Morayfield. Super dissapointed about our Chermside store.

Came in here with my friend on Wednesday to shop for home goods, went to check out and was met with a very rude young lady from what i can remember her name was maddy or maddison (girl with pink hair) She seemed very annoyed when we went to check out our items and even made a point of saying that all of her co workers had gone on a break and rolled her eyes at us, we were extremely apologetic as we did have much a large amount of items but she didn’t seem to care for us, Started loading all of our items into the trolleys to take them to our car in the carpark which she then said “the trolleys lock at the door” after we had more than half of our order organised into them she then said i can get someone else to take them out for you (god forbid she could help) and then another very lovely girl help us take them out. Very disappointed with this experience especially since we shop here very often.

Like an old KMart in the 90s.except less stock. Granted it has not been long since Christmas but about 25-30% of the store was empty and roped off. The areas left populated were quite sparse. Staff were nice enough and we still picked up some clothes, but you do get what you pay for.

I am happy to be polite to staff and appreciate that some are not - hence the signage.
However staff may need to read the notices as well.

They used to have a large selection of candles but this has significantly dropped. Not that much cheaper either. Another place with terrible customer service at the check outs. When did it become a chore to greet people with a smile and just be polite in general.

Always something you NEED. Great shop great staff only problem I find is when I get to the checkout and add up the things we need! Still, great quality and brand names for a fraction of the price!

My 89yo mum bought a round rustic looking mirror from TK Maxx about 6months ago and was shocked when it fell down smashing the mirror as the mount where the thick rope hanger gave way. When I messaged the store to get a replacement they said they needed a receipt or details of credit card used.
I explained she is 89yo uses cash and don't want a refund just a replacement.

My husband and I we went to TK maxx, its our first time yesterday just too look around checking out what they got clothes is not a great deal they need more organised it looks like you are going into a 2nd hand shop they're scattered everywhere. But the they had a good stuff for home decor etc.its cheap and in good quantities. We bought a nice pot plants with the stand included for $60 you normally you will more than $60 at Bunnings, its really great pot plants i will go back there again.

I always love Tk Maxx's variety of products and great prices, there's always ample parking for the centre and the service here is great.

Tk maxx is like a upmarket version of Kmart really.

Has all the big brands at ultra low prices. Whether it be clothing, shoes or socks to kitchenware, audio and toys.

They really do have something for everyone.

Brands such as DKNY, Armani, sketches are a few well known brands usually featured in store plus many other big designers.

I recently picked up two pairs of Reeboks and one pair of Nautica sneakers for $130 in US 12 and 13.

Mt only gripe would be that they need more larger size shoes in stock as there are many shoes for smaller men's feet but not for guys with larger feet.

I can't argue with the price and will continue to shop here.

High turnover in great articles. Especially great and unique home decor. Weekdays are quiet and greatly stocked. Staff is very friendly

This store does not offer the variety of sizes that other TK Maxx Stores do, which is disappointing, but the fact that it is always tidy and well looked after makes it worth visiting.

Range is decent, staff are lovely. My only reason for the 3 stars is this place is like a oven in summer- no properly working aircon - complained to staff about the heat and they said it's being fixed but admitted that it keeps breaking down. I also don't like that the ceiling looks mouldy.

Amazing customer service Chermside. I purchased a soap dispenser and matching toothbrush holder today to find on retuning home the lid on the soap dispenser was broken. The extremely helpful staff member Zalia not only found my receipt which I’d lost on the way home, but went through the large variety of soap dispensers and found the last one for me to put on hold. Well done lovely, you couldn’t have been more pleasant.

Abit bare. Needs more stock. Occasionally will find a great sale item. I’ve purchased two Bluetooth earphones which are great quality.

Only has stock then and when I've found. Not much to choose from, I don't frequent the place much anymore

Easy to find different items. Huge range of clothes. Bargains to be found if you're prepared to hunt out.you need to go there regularly.
