I think if you're going to call yourself a cafe then you have to serve barista coffee.

We had delicious burgers here for lunch and yummy cakes. Also nice little news agency with books etc for the road trip. Would recommend

The cook makes amazing cakes! Deliciously home made. Will return for more when we visit Theodore again.

Nice shop to visit as it has an Information Office run by Theodore volunteers, a coffee shop (great coffee) and Cafe as well as a secondhand book area.

Stopped for quick coffee. They have a newsagent, coffee shop, nursery all under 1 big roof. Aircon which was really appreciated today and a huge mug of cappuccino. Didnt try the cakes or other food

Stopped in here for Lunch, so glad we made it before closing time! We both got a ranch burger - great value for money, very filling.

Very beautiful place stopping through from Miles to Airlie Beach for breakfast, lovely staff and delicious food. Great range of menu and the kids loved the pancakes

Stopped in for a light lunch at this lovely little cafe. Delicious sandwiches and amazing brownie! Friendly service too, so very happy we stopped there.

Nice spot to just slow down and have a look about. A quiet little village - but a lovely park with good toilets. This café/shop was worth a visit for a cold drink. On the park end of town - sort of opposite the information centre. You do have to leave the highway to come into Theodore - but its worth it imo.

Clean, neat little Cafe. Easy parking with a Ute and boat. Very friendly and helpful staff. Delicious food and coffee. Well worth the quick stop.

If you’re looking for a takeaway coffee on your travels this is the place to go. Staff very friendly and the coffee is excellent. Almond milk flat white is the absolute best I’ve ever had while travelling.

Terrible coffee. Watched how is made and started with water from hot urn? The woman behind counter with attitude not suitable for hospitality, lovely shop but freezing with air con blowing obviously don’t want to have people staying in.

Sorry lovely people but worst coffee in Australia, just saw the reply, every thing was perfect, except someone forgot to put the coffee in a latte and a flat white, like warm milk

My favourite every time I travel through Theodore. The staff is very friendly, there is little store inside the Cafe with plenty of interesting things to buy and food is nice, highly recommended

Coffee is good but the homemade pies were absolutely sensational! Owner bakes them herself and forget any pies I’ve ever had before, these have by far been the best!
It’s a lovely cafe to stop and also has a great selection of giftware

Have visited this place before. We enjoyed good coffee and slices. Have a wander around the shop at the other items for sale.
Also take a walk around the town at its history. Theodore was completely flooded several years ago. The whole town was evacuated as the Dawson River broke it's banks.

Plants, Nick knacks and everything in between all in one cafe that has the longest menu I've ever seen.in a tiny town in the middle of nowhere. What could possibly go wrong

Nothing!

Only visited the nursery and plants were very thirsty. Owner explained that she was busy with community fair and didn't get back on Sunday to do watering. Not a great selection of plants but relative to the size of the nursery.

A surprisingly beautiful little town right on the river. It caters for most of your needs with post office, pharmacy, IGA, garage, cafes, great pub, information centre, & a one stop shop for house hold, fashion & much much more. It also caters for travellers with a camp (by donation) with a clean, new toilet and shower block in a beautiful park setting, again, right on the river, a travellers dream spot for self contained vehicles. The showground also caters for caravaners & campers with powered & unpowered sites available. Both a short walk to town. The town also offers a beautiful garden walk along the river as well as children's playgrounds. You won't be disappointed.
