The Triffid reviews
71Went and saw the angels here, had a burger before hand which was reasonably priced and very tasty, served with a side of chips which were great too! The beer here also tasted great and service was on point which a nice atmosphere in the beer garden. My only grievance was the acoustics in the music hall, could hardly hear the vocals and left my ears ringing for days, would recommend bringing some earplugs!
It is a great entertainment venue. Excellent for live music, parties and we did karaoke. The DJ loved the venue and wants to come back
Awesome place took my 10 yo boy to see his first concert there and we couldn't have asked for a better venue. Friendly, no idiots and we had a rippin time! Will definitely be recommending
Been here a couple of times, the live music on a Sunday has been amazing, coupled with cheap beers and good food, it’s a great place to go on a Sunday. Not tried it out yet any other day, but we will be back!
Cool vibes, great food, awesome live music. Cozy beer garden in an interesting indoor/ outdoor venue that was once an airplane hanger.
Grungy but cool, we saw the Apprentease and it was heaps of fun. Loved the MC (forgot their name though, sorry: (). Easy to get too, we walked there so don't know about parking but you can get a feed and bar was very fast. The fold out chairs were a bit tired and scary, they moved so much when we sat in them that I thought they were going to break, and not very comfortable after 25minutes: (
but a great space, definitely going again.
Nice relaxing Sunday afternoon.
Having a drink and listening to good music and kicking your heals up.
Went to the beer garden to see a live band. Love that it's all ages and allows dogs. Really yummy food, great selection of beers and alcoholic drinks. Definitely recommend.
The Triffid is a cool live music venue. Have seen plenty of great acts there. Saw Caligula's Horse there the other night and the boys sounded awesome
Love this place! Such a great vibe. Staff are super friendly and the food is awesome. It's a great place to chill and catch up with friends. So highly recommended.
Funny experience here, came for an event that had been postponed and we weren’t advised, no fault of the venue. Anyway, the manager was a true gentleman, shouted us dinner and a bottle of wine, we watched part of the current entertainment (a little out of our age group). A great opportunity to check out The Triffid which is a fab venue, we’ll definitely be back.
Haven't had much chance to stop by during 2020, it was almost exactly a year between two gigs but the best place for live music and great shows.
Just wish for more vegan and vegetarian options Really wish there was low alcohol beer on tap.say Fortitude beer 2.7 %? On tap. That be awesome. What a great venue saw DMAs with off
Good venue.handy for the city and Valley.found the staff to be friendly and good fast service.drink prices reasonable.food looked great.
Added bonus was Pete Cullen and the Hurt playing great music.the venue has comfortable seating and good vibes.
Highly recommended! A must try!
You need to provide your foot number before enter, you must pay with credit card (no cash allowed) and the food is not good enough for the price. I dot recommend this place.
Always a great place for gigs. And even on non-event nights with a great beer garden with its off the main strip location makes it a great venue. And as for gigs, you can't get better than the hangar style venue, awesome acoustics front to back.
First visit to see the blues maestro Mojo Webb. Unexpected surprise.unique funky venue and bar. Unusual, but it seems to work. Ordinary, but solid tasty food.book a table if you want to sit down.
Yassss! Such a good time! Fabulous beer garden, great for an afternoon drink. The food is great too and very reasonably priced. There is usually free live music in the beer garden on weekends which is lovely.
Such an amazing venue! Easily accessible bar and friendly staff. Such a good night seeing Jemere Morgan, Bearfoot and Katchafire
