The Studio of Performing Arts Springfield

This has been the best studio for my daughters adolescent years. The teachers and staff have so much understanding of children and teenagers. Dance is such a great outlet and the staff have been such a support to my child over the years. It has great facilities and the best dance / circus teachers you could ask for.
They are all so professional but personable and so talented.

My almost 10 year old daughter has been going to The Studio for 2 years now (dance classes and vacation care) and the amount of growth she has experienced not only in dance skills but also mentally and emotionally is beyond words. All the staff are experienced, dedicated, nurturing, encouraging and empathetic and I am very thankful for all that they do. The environment that they foster is like no other. I have complete trust in all the staff at The Studio, and would recommend them to anybody. Should you choose to send your child to The Studio, they'll learn some cool physical skills but more importantly they'll also make massive strides in building their resilience and develop a growth mindset that will help them in so many areas of life. It's hard to list all the positives in a short review however to sum it up, they are beyond fantastic, my daughter loves it there and I'm sure your child will too.

The Studio of Performing Arts Springfield, is a second home to our children and we love being a part of such a wonderful performing arts community. The educators are experienced in nurturing growing bodies and minds and their dedication to their students is second to none.

Their Vacation Care program offers a variety of creative indoor and outdoor activities throughout the schools holidays, leaving the children wanting to go back again and again. We love SOPA!

I have been at the studio since 2013 and I have grown so much as not only a dancer, but a person. The teachers and community have encouraged me to be more confident and outgoing, and they always take the time to talk to us about our day or listen to our problems. I can’t recommend The Studio highly enough. The highly professional, nurturing environment that has been created by Danielle and the staff is beyond expectation. My girls have danced elsewhere but after finding The Studio, they have found their second home. They have both grown into well rounded, skilled dancers. Also they have been given so many opportunities to showcase what they have learned. But above all have made so many beautiful friendships and created so many happy memories

We have been apart of the studio family since the start of 2020. Our 5 year old daughter has loved going to her dancing classes every week and was shattered when covid put a hold on things. She come home one day last term so excited about them doing a OSHC program. So I enrolled both my girls into the program for week 2 of the September holidays. Each day they have come home with a smile on their faces excited to be going back the following day. They were able to tell me a handful of new things they had learnt and we can’t wait for term 4 and what it has to offer!
The staff are beautiful loving people who take pride in the way they educate and care for our children while in their care.

The Studio of Performing Arts is my happy place, I feel safe, confident and absolutely love to dance there. I couldn’t imagine a more supportive environment to dance in and it is where I have found my long life friends. Providing me with so many opportunities and has gotten me to where I am today and who I am today. It is more then a dance school it is a second home and I couldn’t imagine life without it. Thank you so much to the teachers, staff and dancers who make up the wonderful community.

I have been at The Studio of Performing Arts Springfield since I was 4 and I am now 16. I have loved every single moment and have always thought of it as my second home. The staff at the studio have all been extremely encouraging and supportive since the very beginning and I couldn't imagine dancing anywhere else.

We found SOPA as it offered Lyra and have now been there for 2 years. My daughter has found her love of dance again and continues to develop her skills. This is through the support and nurturing of all the qualified teachers at the studio. You can see the connection the students have with their teachers and fellow classmates.

I have been a part of the SOPA family for over 10 years & happily call the studio my second home! All staff are highly qualified & are teaching with an inspiring, caring and passionate approach. The studio offers more than dance classes, but an amazing community of support while helping students grow into better people.

I have been going to the studio for almost 10 years now and I have never felt more welcomed in a dance space to express myself through the Arts. Not only has the studio taught me to be a better dancer but also a better person. There has been so many special moments and friendships that have been made at the studio. Our daughter absolutely loves The Studio of Performing Arts Springfield. She attends dance and acrobatics classes and always enjoys herself. The teachers are brilliant! The approach is one of caring professionalism in the creative arts. We are happy to be part of the SOPA community. We also love the OSHCare program during school holidays - it is a great mix of structured activities and active time as well as free play and chill time.

My daughter has been going here at The Studio of Performing Arts now for 6 years. She was very shy and kept to herself a little but she loved to dance.
The Studio has helped her so much not just with her dancing has helped her to over come her shyness. She was made new friends plus she even loves dancing in front of everyone. They have supported her so much and I would recommend anyone who is looking at sending there child here.

I have 5 kids that dance, we take it seriously and we have tried a few different dance schools. I have never before come across a dance school with this level of professionalism and quality teaching. It’s also the only one I know of where the teachers have educational qualifications so they know to actually teach, not just choreograph.
They are focused on the whole child. They are nurturing my children and helping them develop as mentally healthy young people AND as dancers.
Also, there is none of the cattiness, unhealthy competitiveness and nepotism that you get at many dance schools.
