The Springs Garden World reviews
49 Nice nursery etc. Good range of outdoor furniture, prices are on the high end though.
Had the most delicious iced coffee in the cafe.
Overall, I wasn’t feeling blown away, there were flies around us constantly, it was unclear whether we order at the table or counter. The food came out at seperate times quite delayed and they got the drink order wrong and we ended up paying the price of a iced coffee instead of a standard coffee after delivering the wrong drink twice, which they said they would “take off our bill” and totally ignored the fact we had already paid, just seemed a bit of a shamble for the price you pay for the food.
Came in for coffee, stayed for lunch. Best cheeseburger I have had for ages. Coffee was great too. Companion had open grill which was also very nice. Staff were rushing around like busy bees. Very friendly. Table 12.11am. 20/9/23
Its a lovely place to enjoy a meal and or coffee and cake. They have an incredible range of products for the garden as well as the indoor/outdoor room. All hood quality products that will be difficult to find anywhere else in Toowoomba. Highly recommend a visit even if it is to get inspired of possibilities in your own home or garden. Lovely to walk through their gardening centre after having coffee and cake at t he cafe.
I spent absolutely hours here. There is no other words except the garden centre is absolutely perfect.
However the dining needs improvement. The first time we went it was great however the second time we went back we spent 5-10 minutes to be seated as well as 40 minutes for someone to try take out order only have have the wrong menu and have to wait longer. The second time I got the monthly special drink blue haven, it had no effort and no taste compared to when it first came out. The food was also average but plated nicely. I was disappointed after the second time we went there when the first time I enjoyed it so much.
Dining experience today very sub-standard. Chicken Caesar salad came without the ordered chicken, no cos lettuce (iceberg instead), and very skimpy on everything other added ingredient. Very expensive for what was received. Perhaps delete it from the menu if you can’t produce a meal according to the description.
Other meals also very borderline.
Had a great stop in today. Enjoyed the great variety and found a great juniper at a really reasonable price to take home. Glad I stopped in
Lovely gardens and surrounds, beautiful shop with amazing gift ideas.
Great restaurant. Highly recommend
Expensive, but knowledgeable and helpful staff. A pleasurable plant shopping experience and a wonderful cafe onsite.
I'm sorry but our experience at the cafe was not great. Firstly we waited to be seated as the sign asked, but we were totally ignored with staff not acknowledging us in any way. Not even a smile or a "someone will be with you shortly". After asking if we could sit down, we then had to flag down a waiter as nobody came to take our order. We were then told that our choice of scones was sold out and it was only 10.30am. So we won't be rushing back.
Expensive coffee shop fish frozen felt sick after eating fish drink of the day nice but couldn’t taste the ginger need more staff at lunch times
Always great service in the nursery here, and a huge range of plants and pots. If you come for the cafe, you couldn't find a nicer spot in Toowoomba to eat outdoors. Locally owned business. Lots in the gift shop. Not the cheapest prices.
Love this gift shop and nursery! Not a quick stop as there is so much to see. Beautiful cards and home decor.
Love the range here. Well priced advanced seedlings. Helpful staff. Think I might switch permanently from the big hardware garden centres.
Lovely venue, very efficient staff who looked after our large group and the food was served hot and delicious.
Such a beautiful venue. Food was delicious. Everything you could need in one spot for a garden loving, coffee drinking, cake smashing gal. Such a peaceful feel with lovely established gardens. Staff were very friendly with the exception of one who looks like she'd rather drag glass over her eyeballs than engage in conversation.
Massive range of plants and decor items. The attached cafe serves amazing food and was very accommodating for us and our young baby giving us extra plates and napkins so he could try our own food.
Great shop with heaps of gift idea's, always nice to have a window shop if your over that way.
Seemed pricey. Cafe staff seemed distant, non engaging. Coffee was lovely though. Slices we ordered definately not fresh. Just a tad on the stale side without actually being stale. The lovely Lady staff member that helped my mother with her plants, couldn't be more helpful. Knew exactly how to help, with extra selections as well. That helped my mother greatly. Thank you. She was very knowledgeable. Very engaging. Made sure we were happy with our purchases before moving on. Final counter staff were lovely. Cheery.
We have been regulars lately as we're trying to establish gardens at our new house. Everyone we've dealt with has been really lovely but I have to mention Duanne in particular. He has answered so many of our novice questions and offered up great suggestions for our specific soil conditions. Thanks Duanne and thanks Springs!
