11I had no issues here. Went in to purchase a UQ Lab Coat and safety glasses. I must say though it is awfully difficult to find if it's your first time on campus. Why? I'm not sure. But no matter where you park, it's quite a walk to get to. And secondly the school locker and the UQ Shop are separate entities I ended up at the Boeing Research Centre trying to find this palce. The mapping isn't great and signage is poor.
Kim went above and beyond to get me my textbook for my class that started that night. Thank you Kim, you’re an asset to your business
Not responding to multiple attempts of contact by phone and website over the past month. Not sure if they are still operational.
DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THE SCHOOL LOCKER!
I ordered 2 items from The School Locker in late January 2022.
The first item was a textbook which arrived damaged because it had been jammed into an undersized shipping package.
The second item I ordered was an eBook. In early February I received an email from The School Locker advising me that the eBook I'd ordered was out of stock and I would be given a refund (honestly unsure how an eBook can be out of stock.).
After couple of weeks I sent an email through their website advising that I had not yet received my refund. Got a reply a few days later with the promise that the funds would transferred shortly.
Today is March 24 2022 and I am still awaiting my refund! I have sent several additional emails, tried calling the stores but apparently nobody there has a number that I can call to speak to a customer service representative!
This is probably the worst customer experience I have ever encountered. The School Locker have basically stole my money, leading me to waste my time to try and recover it!
Do yourself a favour and purchase through the many other vendors available. This company does not deserve your business. 0 stars.
Bought a text book from them 2 weeks ago, ordered for collection at the store. I still don't have it. They placed it in a locker system outside the store and you have to scan a QR code to get your item. The QR code I was given didn't work and the clerk in the store said they needed a special staff member to remove the item from the locker. This was a week ago now. I still don't have my text book and I'm behind on my university readings by a week now.
I recieved a text message today that my textbook had been removed from the locker by the store manager so I went to the store today to pick it up (drove 40mins because I live off campus) and when I went to pick it up, they said they were closed despite there being 2 staff members inside and a stack of textbooks ready for collection just sitting there. I don't think they respect their customer's time at all.
Worst service ever had an apple watch there since November, nobody answers the phones, was told that Uni Students were their priority meaning the general public gets pushed to the back. Numerous phone calls they never answer their phones, take forever to answer emails and then get told to pick the watch up from St Lucia when it was never dropped their in the first place. Whatever excuse its a business and customers deserve service, I will never use this service ever again!
Piano ordered online, sender requested consignment return without explanation. They do not answer or return calls. Rarely answer emails. Waited 2 weeks in limbo before i was notified there was a new shipment but with an incorrect consignment number supplied.
SL is convenient bc they’re like at the University or whatever but expect to pay a premium on everything.
Had an excellent experience with Bailey. His knowledge was exceptional and customer service was second to none. Solved my laptop issue very quickly. Would absolutely recommend dealing with Bailey & Mac1.
Had my Iphone battery replaced by The School Locker - UQ St Lucia, the phone was perfect with screen protector but came back with a chipped screen protector. When I pointed that out the attendant highlighted the clause (2) on their service contract that says they will not be held responsible for any damage they may cause and wouldn't do anything about it. My bad luck. It's like taking your car in for a service and comes back dented and them saying they can't be held responsible. It sucks, not happy!
