Beautiful old building

But the staff are a bit meh. Twice iim was waiting on line and it seemed they were more interested in having a blether with their mates.

Plus it's basically all craft beer. No thanks. Plus expensive. $13 for a schooner of Asahi is a wee bit ridiculous

Plus they lose a point for the AoC signs

Great old theatre with so much ambience and history. Great place to watch some good comedy.

Such a beautiful venue. The staff were lovely, both at the bar and the door staff. The sound was great. The seating in the mezzanine had a great view. Such a beautifully restored picturesque venue.

First time here, and it was pretty nice! I saw the punk band Lagwagon here. Intimate venue with nice sound. A large toilet block stayed pretty clean and stocked with paper towels and soap throughout the night. Bar was okay. The majority was craft beer. Not my taste, so went with a Great Northern. Overall not a bad place.

Love an old style theatre with a sloped floor so that folks further back can see. Lovely beer garden out back and stylish clean black unisex loos

Love this venue, almost as much as the Tivoli. Of course it's a different experience. The outdoor bar at the Princess is a great idea & the whole place works really well & looks killer after the reno.
Paul Kelly was sold out but we still had good views, ample room & a great atmosphere to enjoy the show. We'll be back soon.
Thanks, guys.

As with the Tivoli, a beautifully restored theatre / vaudeville-esque space.

If you're young and want to be in the thick of it, get tix on the floor; older folks like me (or this'd who prefer a slight bit of sanctuary) should grab seats on the mezzanine level - which also has a smaller, chill-er bar space that looks out onto Annerly Road.

Nothing to fault here. A beautiful, ornate room that is a far cry from the sweaty, smoke and beer soaked Brisbane rock venues of the past. Maybe the sound could have been a bee's willy louder but that is splitting hairs.
A sold out crowd at the Princess does not mean "packed in", we got in quickly, got drinks quickly moved around and eventually left with a minimum of fuss.

Gorgeous venue with working air-cons means hallelujah on a humid night in Brisbane. The little pub on the side also has the cutest bee straws available

Very nice place, enjoyed a standup comedy show recently.
The seating arrangements inside could be better, chairs are too close to one another. Not sure if this is always the case.
During the event, there was a long queue on the street in warm evening sun, needs a better system to let the audience inside the theatre.
Needs improvement in wheelchair accessibility, too many steps for accessing toilets.

Absolute full credit & lots of love to the staff all round at the Princess theatre. My partner & I went and saw the totally awesome Samantha Fish on Thursday night. My partner had recently had an hip operation and was allocated a seat in the seating area that accommodates for wheel chairs. Great little spot and easy access to toilet. Staff were amazing as for checking for comfort and viewing was all good. An amazing place as well as the people within, had an amazing night and the drinks were severed well. Thankyou so much to everyone involved within the Princess Theatre.

We went to see Plini last nite everything was fine until the last song when suddenly without reason or explanation this androgynous looking short bouncer with a Ponytail dragged my freind whom btw is the most peaceful kind person and had travelled 3 hours to Brisbane, out of the crowd in a headlock. I followed asking what are you doing and why he/she was being so aggressive and violent towards my friend and that we were leaving anyway and all he/she/could say was he pushed he/she/they/them back when being dragged out backwards.
This was a total misuse of force and could have been avoided if a conversion was had I.e. May we please talk to you for a moment but no they/them had to show off their / them hormone induced muscles.
This was clearly an assault and this disgraceful thing whatever it was should be barred from ever being in this industry.
Obviously short person syndrome.

The show was great and the theatre itself is beautiful but the seating was horrific.
Tiny uncomfortable chairs put side by side. The person next to me was taking up some of my chair because they were a bit bigger.
Just such a shame to be sitting uncomfortably for hours. Made the show a lot less enjoyable.
