We went there for an early lunch before heading down to QPAC for the matinee. We arrived just before the lunch service started and our meal came within about 20 mins. We all enjoyed our meals and by the time we left it was fairly full of people.

Steak was pretty good, but chips could be better. Nice open air seating arrangement is perfect for the weather. Promenade a short walk away.

The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it the perfect place to relax and have a good time.

One of the highlights of this place is their impressive selection of beers. Whether you're a fan of craft brews or prefer classic favorites, they have something for everything. The place is cozy and comfortable, with both indoor and outdoor seating options. The outdoor area is especially charming and having live music helps as well, providing a lovely setting to enjoy your drinks while taking in the vibrant atmosphere of Southbank.

Stopped in on Friday afternoon. As my first time, it looked like there was a host stand (place where you stand to be seated) but come to find out it is sit wherever you like and order via QR code. They have a lot of options for seating including a deck area. They had a large screen TV, and live music. Food was reasonably priced and several options.

All in all an enjoyable, but as a visitor I would have preferred more interaction with staff regarding food selections.

Lovely location. The singer was great. The staff were friendly and the kids meals came out very quickly. More economical kids drinks would be nice.

Great food, the best pizza's and their happy hour and mid week deals are some of the best. Their staff are really friendly and happy and the place has a chilled out pub vibe. Highly recommended.

Nice pub on the edge of the Southbank, great for a beer or food after a swim and look around, staff are friendly and they do pints

We were looking forward to eating here as it is a very special treat for us to eat out. I booked a month in advance so we could get a good table. However, we were placed in the Sports Bar at a bar table that was barely big enough for the plates and we were right next to the bar. I said to the waiter is my child even meant to be in here and they said no, but they have no other tables. Then while were were eating our meals (which were nice by the way), they came and told us we had to be out by 7pm as table was reserved for other quests. We were so disappointed.

Love coming here. Food and drinks are always perfect, staff are lovely. Bonus points that i can bring my dog, he also loves the food and a fresh bowl of water. 5 stars from Simba as well.

Great atmosphere, Live Music and plenty of seating areas to enjoy a meal or drinks with friends. Highly recommended this establishment.

All the food was delicious and the staff were great and really friendly, but the food made us sick after a short while.

We thought we'd just grab a quick drink and ended up staying for hours. Fabulous venue, remarkable staff, especially the bar crew, so friendly and genuinely nice even though incredibly busy, food was so yum, hats off to the kitchen and service was top notch.

Place is pretty loose, good beers on tap decent price. Not that many bogans which is a nice plus.

Nice old hotel, well preserved and added to. The top deck has a good view of the river and surrounds. Facilities were clean.

Very disappointed with the Korean Noodle Salad; no sweet potato noodles or nuts to be seen and too much dressing. Friends had a share plate which contained three of; an even number of pieces to share would be better.

Go for the view, not the food. Service was okay but since the pandemic, this ordering at the table is just another way of using customers as workers; takes twice as long to place the order and does wait staff out of a job.

The venue manager is the best (Tim), he looked after my work crew and made everyone feel important.

All the staff loved it, can’t wait to come back. Next time we will have to have a bigger party.

Was better for dining up stairs last time we went. This time we were downstairs and not as good a spot.

Service and food was ok. Booked online, got a call to confirm booking, asked for a specific area to sit, got sat upstairs in a totally different place ‍️

I came here for dinner recently with about of 8 friends and although they had reasonably good meals I was extremely disappointed with what was available to me as a coeliac. Although the menu shows several Gluten free meals on offer they are not REALLY GF. The only option I was given was to have a Caesar salad with no croutons and some grilled pieces of chicken. I selected this pub as the menu showed it had several GF choices so with only one meal that was actually truly Gluten free I was bitterly disappointed. Like many other hotels and cafes I have been to lately, please stop saying. Something is GF when it cannot be prepared correctly as it THEN is NOT GLUTEN FREE! Won’t be going back that’s for sure.
