I tried the waygu burger. Amazing. Haven’t had a burger like that for ages. My wife had calamari she said very tender.

Great service. Mist fans above the garden amazing. Upstairs public bar.

Sunday lunch. Service from everyone was exceptional. Quite when we arrived at 1. Sat inside as 80 year old Mum cannot navigate the tall stools and tables outside. Chicken Burger was tasty. Chicken breast a bit too thick for the bun but still finished it all.
Schnitzel and chips and salad with gravy also good meal size and tasty. Had an Oreo cheesecake to share for dessert. Had better but presentation was lovely. Always a decent meal but it's the service today that is the standout. It's a local for us and never left disappointed. Lots more customers in the outdoor dining area when we left.

Couldn’t have had a better day. The table was set up as requested, the service with a smile was great and made the place happier like the staff want to work there. Great steak lunch, footy on the big screen and then live music, what a Sunday. Brilliant!

Everything was fine except for the chicken nuggets that daughters tried to eat and complained about the taste so both my son and husband tried them, one having to spit it out it was so disgusting. All three of them were sick all last night. You did refund the cost of the meal of the day and said that we got the last of the batch. All other food was good

Just had lunch there today with 10 people. All of us loved our meals, the service was great from taking our order to getting our meals. The “Dog House” room had a lovely atmosphere. Definitely recommend. Lot’s of on site parking

We had a fabulous lunch for 10 on Sunday with multiple generations of family. Everyone enjoyed their meal. It was nice to be in a venue where we could hear each other. The staff were very attentive and happy to accommodate our requests. Will definitely recommend.

Haven’t been here in years so has changed a bit. Food was great and quickly delivered. Table service in the restaurant was top notch. Beer was ice cold

Great live music and footy on the big screen. The food has been kept reasonably priced even in. Time of high inflation.

Food was OK. Pulled pork burger could have been better. But as south Australians, to rock up and have the afl on the bug screen was a blessing.

Lovely meal. Can highly recommend this pub. Lilly (apologies if not spelt correctly) pointed out we had inadvertently paid for Salmon we hadn’t ordered. Thankyou. We will definitely be back.

Duped. Was enticed there by the 1000 Guineas $41 Bone in Rib Eye.

Kitchen bad idea # 1: Saw them in half, so they're thinner.cutting a bone-in rib-eye in half? What IS that? I'll tell you for free. No-where.

Kitchen bad idea # 2: Garlic prawn topper - tiny imported flavourless prawns you see in bait bags. Fail.

No return visit from this punter. Plenty of better options.

A classic century old Brisbane hotel with massive character. Everyone must try the food in the bistro. Delicious, reasonably priced and huge servings make the perfect meal. Terry Foley - Surfers Paradise

Excellent venue for private celebration of an 0 birthday! Bar, outside seating and inside lounge area provided was very comfortable. Food platters delicious. Staff very attentive and helpful. Most impressed by all of the other amenities the Normanby hotel provided their patrons who were having fun and enjoying themselves. Recommend a visit to this Hotel.

Great place to spend time with friends. Good selection of food and platters for large bookings.

Great atmosphere, good food, efficient staff you can be outside in the cool breezes and listen to the music. Or inside for somewhere more comfortable and quiet

Cannot recommend this place enough, 10/10 service, food is fantastic, great vibes! Definitely recommend!
