27So happy a friend highly recommended this shop to me. Filled with recycled craft materials. From patterns to zips yarns buckles and huge range of materials. Everything so well themed in colour or type. At last a place to take all my stashed treasures so someone else can use them.
Thank you to all of the volunteers! They work so hard and are so appreciated. A wonderful place to shop! The new shop at Brendale is lovely!
Called in today looking for something quite specific. The ladies were really helpful & looked around for us kept bringing fabric they thought might fit the bill for us to see. I left with 4 metres of fabric for $16. The haberdashery looks wonderful & well organised.
Lovely place and lovely staff with heaps of haberdashery priced affordably and even had plants for sale!
Great place to go for material, buttons, knitting needles and other preloved notions. Even has a few cheap sewing machines. It was worth the drive from West Brisbane.
Very difficult to negotiate traffic to get there. OK if you know what you're looking for. Very friendly, helpful people working there, but I didn't buy anything - all a bit overwhelming. No knitting patterns
This place is nothing short of amazing!
All fabric patterns yarn and haberdashery are donated so there are the most wonderful finds at ridiculous prices.
Friendly and professional community.
Lots of Great hand crafted products.
Take care driving out as it's on a blind corner.
I love this place! If only I lived closer! So much haberdashery, fabric and I could spend hours in the pattern drawers!
A real treasure trove and a wonderful source of information from the ladies in there. Brilliant!
A friend of mine went there and she was told anyone with any kind of disability is not welcome! What a shame!
How much fun is the Nest.everybit of tat a crafty girl might need.brilliant Op shop for haberdashery needs.
The volunteers are just so lovely and so willing to help me and my daughters with or current projects
What a great find; so much to see: fabric, patterns, buttons, wool. The haberdashery is extensive. I love buckles and found some gorgeous vintage ones. All so cheap too!
The staff are lovely.
They take donations too so if you have some sewing items you are not going to use this is a great place to give them to.
One thing that delights me is they teach people to sew!
1st visit for a workshop. Teacher was just lovely, very knowledgeable and patient. Beautiful setting, ample parking, I will be back to this awesome place!
A wonderful concept recycling & upcycling donated haberdashery to the community, whilst providing training and a friendly environment for all who are interested in working with fabric.
The volunteers here are a jovial and very friendly bunch, who make you feel welcome from the moment you step inside.
The gardens are also a fantastic way of getting outside and enjoying the sunshine here.
The Nest is such an incredible organization adding to the local sharing economy. Keep going girls
Found this place on someone's Facebook page and bought various lots of yarn and making a Stole with pattern from Hobbii. My daughter who loves sewing, would love this place with it's wide variety of fabrics and colours and a great place for upcycling.
