The Miami

We ordered a kids meal, the Deluxe seafood platter, beef burger and pizza. The kids meal came out straight away and was great. We then waited an 1hr 20mins for the remaining meals.
The margarita pizza and burger were very average. The seafood platter was extremely disappointing with the calamari missing and the hero’s of the platter, the bugs and scallops, were overcooked and tasted of burnt garlic.
Soft drink, something hard to get wrong, the post mix must have run out. To get this rectified was not easy and a manager had to be brought in and after 3 attempts got we got a lemonade!
Disappointing as we were looking forward to this being our regular for the holiday.

So disappointed. We called ahead and were told it wasn’t busy. We arrived and no one at all could seat us or others. No eye contact, no smiling, no welcome.
Food was dismal, really not that hard to make basic pub food well!
Staff did not smile the whole time we were there. They looked like they could not be bothered.
We will wipe this one off and go elsewhere next time.

Wednesday night is Triva night at Miami Tavern. We had such a great night, filled with good food, drinks, and lots of laughs, as we strained our brains to answer all the trivial questions. A huge thank you to Connor, Daniel, and all the team at Miami Tavern for your wonderful hospitality.

Customer service was average, missing items from our order asked 3 different people to get the sauces we order with our meal that didn’t come when we got the food.
No check in on tables, bar floor was sticky as hell nearly lost my damn thong (CLEAN YOUR FLOORS)
I preferred the Miami Tavern back in the old glorious times, unfortunately you made it look so grand from the outside but didn’t deliver customer service wise or general cleaning to keep the place “modern”

Food was great. Really nice linguine and pizza. Lots of sports channels on. Great spirits selection. Cleanliness was terrible though. Sticky tables. Filthy toilets (in the womens). Dirty glasses.
Place is very pretty though

I’ve been going to the Miami Tavern on a Wednesday for Trivia nights, heaps of fun, the atmosphere is great.

Great atmosphere & hospitality especially watching AFL Grand Finals 2023 BL vs Collingwood.

Highly recommended anyone to go & experience great service & hospitality.

We were struggling with our child and Harley was so helpful, he even put a smile on her face

Delicious steaks all round, were perfectly cooked and beautifully presented with salads, chips and individual sauces. Also delicious was the vego pizza which they were more than happy to modify to vegan. Much appreciated.

Just wish the kids meal was brought out first, cocktails were excellent as was the bartender that entertained our hangry 5 year old.
It was strange that a manager made a point to tell our 5 year old the fish needed time to cook, and talk procedure with their 2 kitchens, then passive aggressively wishing me a lovely night.
He is a child and was hungry.
We did have a great night regardless.
Good portions and great quality meals.

Easily booked a table online for a early Friday night dinner.

Ordered three entrees and the oysters kilpatrick were served first, however had to ask for forks and side plates.

2 of the mains arrived before the other entrees.

The Cobb salad was bland and the honey mustard dressing was was more mayo than vinaigrette and nowhere near enough to moisten the salad - not eaten.

The chicken burger was all crumb and no meat - not eaten.

The remaining two entrees came out 5 mins before the remaining meals.

Steak was over cooked - came out well well done as opposed to the request being medium.

The ribs were nice however the Slaw was dry and had no sauce.

Very poor service and had to request cutlery to eat.

We won’t be back.

Hired out The Backyard for a 21st and the experience was awesome! Selina was fantastic to deal with & the staff on the night were wonderful. Highly recommend booking this place for sn event we all had a great night.

Wonderful food and service. The beef pie was delicious. Beautiful view of the ocean. Tahnee is the host with the most, lovely smiley face. We will be back

Was there last weekend for my daughters best friends wedding. Had an amazing night. The staff were so lovely and amazing. The food was delicious. Would recommend this place to all my friends and family. A really lovely atmosphere.

Food was good and drinks a little expensive. Great atmosphere and lovely wait staff. We had a table of 5 and meals come out 20 mins apart and they wernt busy, a good kitchen team should be able to manage this. Other then this probably would have been 5 stars.

Georgia was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Her service was equally as good. Will definitely come back here!

Great cocktails and the private function room is perfect overlooking the ocean! Food was lovely and staff were gorgeous. Definitely recommend!

Came to the Miami for lunch yesterday and had the most amazing time. Selina showed us to our table and kindly explained how to use me&u. Tahnee made us an espresso martini and it was the best cocktail I've ever had. The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. We will definitely be returning

Couldn’t recommend enough! Food was delicious and delivered in a timely manner. Cocktails were both aesthetic and tasted amazing! The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly, especially our waitress Georgia who greeted us with a warm smile and attended to all our needs! Was a pleasant night!
